Historia
What do you do when you feel like you’ve won the game of life? Share the secrets you’ve learned so everyone else can win too! At least, that’s what we decided to do. After all, we didn’t set out to win anything when we each took a chance on ourselves and followed our hearts. We both just knew there had to be something more than the unfulfilling lives we were living. We each took a step, and the universe rose up to meet us - taking us on a wild adventure up the mountain of success, health, fitness, happiness, love, fulfillment, and inner peace.

Historia
In 2015, Barbara Lipska - a leading expert on the neuroscience of mental illness - was diagnosed with melanoma that had spread to her brain. Within months, her frontal lobe, the seat of cognition, began shutting down. She descended into madness, exhibiting dementia- and schizophrenia-like symptoms that terrified her family and coworkers. But miraculously, the immunotherapy her doctors had prescribed worked quickly. Just eight weeks after her nightmare began, Lipska returned to normal. With one difference: she remembered her brush with madness with exquisite clarity.

Fantastic story!
Revisado: 10-05-18
The story is so riveting! I could not turn it off from the moment it begun. There is so much irony in Barbara’s experience, but it is so incredible!
As far as the narration is concerned... I loved it EXCEPT for when the narrator attempted to speak Polish. Ugh it was an atrocity! Someone should have guided this woman more on how to say things. I’m Polish and I could barely understand a word she attempted. But great otherwise!

Historia
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Favorite book!
Revisado: 07-22-18
This is literally my favorite book since childhood. I’m so happy to have it on audiobook now!
I don’t know how I feel about Jim Dale’s performance. I think he’s great, but some of the pronunciation of the magic spells or names is a little odd to me. I love how he doesn’t say the T in Voldemort, just as JK Rowling recommends.
Either way I will listen to this over and over!
