Amazing Cast, Story and Lesson Taught!
Revisado: 06-05-24
Loved the cast, the story, and the lesson that they teach with the story is one that everyone needs to be reminded of every now and then, since unfortunately a bunch of us forget it a little too often. Thanks for this reminder and thanks for the entertaining, enjoyable time!

Historia
Karl Strong is lonely. Not quite alone, which is, perhaps, worse. His best friend moved away, his mother died, and his father has crawled into a hole and pulled it in after him. He is a talented athlete, but after high school, he lets himself go and dies of a heart attack. Luckily, this is Middle Falls, where death is rarely the end of the story. Karl will have every chance to find what he needs.

This Middle Falls story didn't dissappoint. Another piece of the puzzle, another character to love, and grow with and die with, over and over. Keep 'em coming!

Historia

Good story, narrator could do a better job.
Revisado: 02-04-20
El principito is The Little Prince and I loved the Netflix version and adaptation which continues the story and goes beyond the book. I had never read the actual book and now that I have listened to it, I enjoyed it very much. I was not very impressed with the narrator since he didn't pay much attention to punctuation and made the chapter titles more important than the last words of the previous chapter. This version was completely in Spanish and I did enjoy the Spanish accent of the narrator.

Loved hearing this story!! I wish that it would turn into a movie!! it could be the Forest Gump of Music!! The only thing I would improve on in this audible version is to incorporate the actual music of Frankie playing the guitar!

Leaves you with a feeling of love ...
Revisado: 02-09-19
I have to admit that it took some pushing through to get past the beginning part of the book, but I really enjoyed the story. Once the characters come together is easier to follow. Listening to the story was probably what made me get lost a few times on who was who. With a hard copy of the book I might have not had that problem. But, then again, I probably wouldn't have gotten through the whole story that way since in today's world (at least at this point on my life) there is little time for reading. I enjoy my audible app so much because it gives me a sense of accomplishment when I am finished with a book. Because it provides me with a moment of tranquility when the day is going so fast. Because sometimes, I just want to get lost in a story and away from the real life problems and stress. But, mostly, because I learn more and more the more I read, the more I listen to a book read to me. Thanks Audible!

Historia
The best-selling memoir by Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. I Am Malala. This is my story. Malala Yousafzai was only 10 years old when the Taliban took control of her region. They said music was a crime. They said women weren't allowed to go to the market. They said girls couldn't go to school. Raised in a once-peaceful area of Pakistan transformed by terrorism, Malala was taught to stand up for what she believes. So she fought for her right to be educated.

4 stories, intertwined by music and magic!! ❤❤!!
Revisado: 06-24-18
This book has moved me in so many chapters, with the stories of each character and with the music that is embedded in the story in this audio version of this book. This is one book that I would recommend to anyone who loves music, magic, and the enchantment of what destiny has plannned for each person no matter what their circumsances may have been at the beginning of their journey. This is one book that I would strongly suggest you enjoy through the Audible App instead of the hard copy, as the music fills a lines with emotions beyond the page.

But this summer also includes Carmen, a cute poetry enthusiast who moves into Arturo's apartment complex and turns his stomach into a deep fryer. He almost doesn't notice the smarmy land developer who rolls into town and threatens to change it.

This book hits home!
Revisado: 04-28-18
This book has the stories of 3 families that go through many events that real people have been through, and they keep going through. I had a knot in my throat as I listened to the stories and the hardships and tragedies that were SO real, TOO REAL! I hope this book reaches millions of people that need to open their mind and heart to the needs of others such and develop a sense of empathy within their own families.
