This mystery kept me guessing from the first page to the last and the canine characters were adorable fur-actors that appeared just at the right time.

I'll be looking for more by this author, narrator and characters!

The Grey Man Is Back!

Court is back in another well drawn tale that brings back some characters we've met before and some new and engaging ones. Mark Greaney takes us now to a conference of the heads of the Intelligence Communities that feels like it could have been cut from the headlines of today's news!

Exciting and suspenseful to the very end. I couldn't leave it to the very end.

A story that mirrors today's headlines!

I first heard this book mentioned on a news commentary and just had to hear it. It's astounding how the storyline and the characters present a vivid deja vu of the political twists and turns of the current era.

I couldn't put this aside for a moment until it was done. I've always enjoyed Silva but this is, for me, clearly his best so far.

In retrospect - I can’t remember why I choose this book. It winds lazily between characters and locales that are confusing enough that I found it particularly difficult to stay engaged with them.

I cannot recommend it.

When Business Arrangements Lead to Love

This is surely among the best of this series! While there is certainly more explicit sexual language than I would have liked, the storyline is perhaps the best thus far. These characters feel the most fully 'drawn' and are the most likeable overall!

I'll keep watching for more by this author!

Far Too Painful to Listen!

In hopes that something would improve, I made my way through the first eight chapters! Is this intended to be a spoof??

I usually enjoy this author and am astonished to have her heroine, transmitted through time, pulling out her mobile and, while there is no service, the phone shows the date in 1297.

The story is bad, the characters forced and the Narration is awful.

Never more!

Good Story - let down in editing!

While the story is a good "love out of time" tale that is historically well researched and well written, it is annoyingly interrupted by numerous clumsy breaks in and between words which i must assume are caused by careless editing! After the first several I began noting, with growing ire, these many many instances that break continuity.

Not Her Best!

While I often really enjoy Jarecki, I found myself slogging through this book. I freely admit that a large part of that may have to do with the narrator. A weaker than usual plot and the some over used words or turn of phrase bothered me. Glaring mispronunciations and inserting incorrect words plus a voice that, to me, was annoyingly shrill made this a book I will not repeat, forward or recommend.
