Historia
The definitive guide to 21st-century business leadership, The New Extraordinary Leader shook the foundations of leadership as we knew it when it was published in 2002. Since then, we have seen tectonic shifts in the world of business - and this revised and updated edition provides the data and insights you need to address them all. Jack Zenger and Jim Folkman's proprietary 360 feedback assessment of leaders in the real world - how they lead, what works, and what doesn't - provides the data that makes The Extraordinary Leader unique in a crowded field of such books.

Excellent Book for All
Revisado: 05-03-23
Excellent ideas and actions backed by data; it seems like this third edition has added a significant amount of updates, as well as ongoing validation or modification of earlier conclusions.
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their performance, not just leaders and managers.

Historia
Extraordinary things happen when we harness the power of both the brain and the heart. Growing up in the high desert of California, Jim Doty was poor, living with an alcoholic father and a mother chronically depressed and paralyzed by a stroke. Today he is the director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University, of which the Dalai Lama is a founding benefactor.

Historia
Two questions fundamental to human existence have always been the metaphysical “where do I fit in the grand scheme of things?” and the ethical “how should I behave?” Religion is no longer a source of answers for many people, and nothing has replaced it. Moore uses his signature framework-based approach to answer these questions, taking us on an intellectual roller coaster ride through physics, chemistry, biology, the social sciences and the humanities. Along the way, he builds a metaphorical ladder that leads from the big bang to the need for ethical action in our daily lives.

Crossing the Chasm of Business … and now Life
Revisado: 08-12-22
Have always been a fan of Moore’s writing, starting with Crossing the Chasm that was a keystone to how our
OEM and we built our business; his writing style always provides insights and an ability to connect disparate dots.
The Infinite Staircase, albeit unexpected, was just as intriguing, insightful, and thought provoking. I believe Moore has provided a valuable framework to help us make sense of many of life’s questions and he provided us with ‘spirit’ that can transcend religious biases.
