great story didn't like narrators choice of emotio

The narrator was good but her choice of sounding like everyone was crying the whole time was a bit much and degraded what was a first class sci fi story.

some of the best science fiction of all time

I've already read the book once but it can easily handle a second reading. I was worried about the reading after having already built the characters in my mind but this performance was almost as unique as Watts story itself and very appropriate. His handling of Siri Keaton was expert well done and Sarasti's voice just cracked me up.
