Not a fan of Superman

I listened to this book because I wanted to finish the series. I just don't like superman. I tried really hard to like him in this book, but I just find him so annoying and overpowered. The author tried to make him relatable to the reader, but I just can't relate to him. If you are ok with Superman or like him, I'm sure you will love this book!

A great reading of the wrong book

I loved the story. I had already read the entire series before, so now I am just listening to them. the way the speaker spoke when girls spoke kind of bothered me, but other than that, it was great.

Not as interesting as I originally thought.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
It wasn't as interesting as I thought it was going to be. I did enjoy listening to it, but I wish that it was more exciting. I do not plan on continuing this series.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The most interesting thing was the whole idea of the story. I liked when the twins were realizing how important they were. Some of that part was extremely interesting. However, overall the book was pretty predictable. There are no twists.
Which character – as performed by Denis O'Hare – was your favorite?
My favorite character has to be Nicolas Flammel. He was just wonderful.
Do you think The Alchemyst needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I know it has more books after this one, but I won't read or listen to them.
Any additional comments?
If you want something that's easy to listen to and do not mind having things predictable, listen to this.

Great Story

What did you like best about this story?
I liked the characters created. It was easy to follow along with while I was driving and easy to pick up when I got back in my car. I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to reading more.
What about Mikael Naramore’s performance did you like?
The performance was fun to listen to because Mikael Naramore used different voices for each character. It made it easier to follow along.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes sci-fi and adventure.
