A great representation of freeing yourself from societal expectations.
Revisado: 07-18-23
I will say that this book tries to tie all religions together in some chapters. It will help you identify your problems in your mind and heart. But in the the end it gets the character of God wrong when comparing it to Judie-Christian values, God in this view has a range of emotions not just pure ecstasy.

Breathing
Revisado: 05-04-23
Frequent breaths were pretty loud but the annunciation was fantastic. I liked the technical voice reading it.

Historia
In this provocative talk, Osho starts with our assumption that we are interested, maybe even passionately interested, in knowing the truth - and he tears it to shreds. He goes back in history with razor sharp clarity to illustrate our long-time avoidance of the truth, and our need to hide out in illusion.

Hits specifically at Christian values, and leans toward Buddhism.
Revisado: 03-14-23
I would be fine if the philosophy hit several belief systems, but there are a lot of specific hits at Christianity specifically. Specifically sides with Buddhism, when simply could mention separating your identity from any religion itself.

Historia
Sexual abuse, sex addiction, gender confusion, brokenness, and shame plague today's world, and people are seeking clarity and hope. By contesting long-held cultural paradigms, this book equips you to see how sexuality is rooted in the broader context of God's heart and his work for us on earth. Instead of arguing with the world about what's right and wrong about sexual choices, this practical resource equips you to share the love and grace of Jesus as you encounter the pain of sexual brokenness - your own or someone else's.

This is a mind changer when it comes to Sexuality
Revisado: 02-20-22
I loved this book it brought up so many emotions and questions I had about sexuality. Juli Slattery brings so much logic, but also spiritual meaning to sexuality and what it represents and that it effects us even in singleness itself.

Its a good read, but has some gaps
Revisado: 01-28-22
I loved this book but the audio mostly matched the book , but there was a lot of qoutes , and even extra commentary that was out of order. Overall this book has a good message, and helped me be aware of opportunities I am missing in life when it comes to money and how it is stewarded.

Historia
Heralded by the New York Times and Time as the couples therapy with the highest rate of success, Emotionally Focused Therapy works because it views the love relationship as an attachment bond. This idea, once controversial, is now supported by science, and has become widely popular among therapists around the world. In Hold Me Tight, Dr. Sue Johnson presents Emotionally Focused Therapy to the general public for the first time. Johnson teaches that the way to save and enrich a relationship is to reestablish safe emotional connection and preserve the attachment bond.

It made me hopeful but also cry.
Revisado: 01-23-22
I am single , and after seeing 5 different divorces in the family , my parents struggling marriage, and my confusion with relationships as an individual with autism this book was so enlightening. It revealed so much to know and hope for in a marriage, but also tools to use and look for to be a better lover. It also forced me to see that sometimes it's the dialogue loop couples are stuck in that are the enemy. The book also gave good examples that helped my emotional vocabulary. Thank you Sue for this book it has taught me a lifetime of knowledge and a new perspective and hope for relationships.
