Historia
Golan Trevize, former councilman of the First Foundation, has chosen the future, and it is Gaia. A superorganism, Gaia is a holistic planet with a common consciousness so intensely united that every dewdrop, every pebble, every being, can speak for all - and feel for all. It is a realm in which privacy is not only undesirable, it is incomprehensible. But is it the right choice for the destiny of mankind? While Trevize feels it is, that is not enough. He must know.

Not the best
Revisado: 03-08-25
The story was subpar. The narration and editing was relatively poor. I recommend skipping this one. You're not missing much

Historia
The future of Anyar is being woven with threads spread across the planet. Those myriad threads contribute to a tapestry whose final mosaic remains obscure. An enigmatic alien race scattered five human castaways across the planet Anyar, far enough apart that they should never meet. The planet itself is a mystery. How is it already inhabited by humans when they did not evolve there? Castaway Joseph Colsco, now known as Yozef Kolsco, gradually finds himself at the center of resistance to an empire with ambitions to rule the world by any means necessary: Narthon.

Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Somewhat Difficult to Listen To
Revisado: 07-11-24
I dont like the narration by so many different people. It's hard to listen to. Too many different pronunciations. Too many pronunciations that are different that how I would pronounce the same words when I read the book. A talented single narrator that can do multiple voices, with less obnoxious pronunciation, would produce a better listening experience.

Historia
In the 25th century, humans have conquered space. The advent of faster-than-light travel has opened up hundreds of habitable planets for colonization, and humans have exploited the virtually limitless space and resources for hundreds of years with impunity. So complacent have they become with the overabundance that armed conflict is a thing of the past, and their machines of war are obsolete and decrepit. What would happen if they were suddenly threatened by a terrifying new enemy?

Not as good as the others
Revisado: 12-10-23
The story doesn't work very well, trying to pretend Adm Jole has been around a long time, even though he's new to us. Not much that's interesting. Sort of a plain, relatively boring, vanilla addiction to an otherwise excellent series.
