With the way Glow ended so tragically, I was a little apprehensive to start Gold. While this one took us on a very different journey, it was still incredible!

On a romantic aspect, the novel was utterly sad. It showed a Slade seeking retribution. His revenge path was representative of his hurt that I could feel deeply through his chapters. His devotion for his Goldfinch was truly admirable and stunning, yet poignant. Auren's path was different than his yet so fascinating! In a new realm, she discovered that over the seven Kingdoms of Orea, the Fae world is also living a rebellion. Diving into Annwynn and its politics was riveting.

We also got the story progressing through other characters' povs. I didn't think I could like Queen Malina, but wow! That woman transformed beautifully through the series. Her chapters had me so interested in her actions and fate.

This audiobook narration was brilliant! I couldn't put this story down. I'm so ready for the conclusion of this series!

4.5 STARS!
Glow was so good! It had a slower pace than Gleam, but it still delved deeper into the different characters. We got to experience chapters told in new povs which I enjoyed a lot. I absolutely loved discovering more about Slade's back story. It made me love this multi-layered hero even more. It was also really nice to discover more about Fourth Kingdom, but also finally learn about the Fae world, Annwynn.

The romance between Auren and Slade was even more powerful and swoony! Their intimate moments were an inferno of hotness! I seriously adored this couple! This book was also about Auren learning to control her gold and to fight, but also forging a bond with Slade's Wrath. I really loved Lu, Judd, Ryatt and Osrik. The intrigue with the Conflux wanting Auren's trial had ma anxious for her destiny.

Glow was such a great read or listen in this case! The great narration had me completely invested in this novel. The last few chapters were full of events that left me stunned and heartbroken! Seriously, that ending was just devastating! I'm so ready for book five!

Iron Flame was a compelling sequel to Fourth Wing! The first part of the book was a little slow, but once the action and surprises started happening, I couldn't stop reading. The romance between Violet and Xaden was complicated, but their love was real and heartbreaking at times. I loved the new alliances, the secrets and challenges Violet and her squad faced. The astonishing and poignant ending left me dying for Onyx Storm's release. At least, I only have a few weeks to wait!

What a ride Onyx Storm took me in! This book was captivating from start to finish. It was such a big book, but I felt everything was important, well developed and very informative. I was instantly hooked from the first chapter and I don't feel there was any dull moment. This third book in The Empyrean Series is wihout a doubt my new favorite!

As I expected, Onyx Storm was action packed and full of political aspects and revelations that had my jaw dropping multiple times through my read. It was also brimming with romance and spice, but also friendship and loyalty. Regardless of these beautiful lighter moments, there was also sadness, anguish, heartbreak, betrayal, scheming and casualties.

Violet rose as a powerful and brave heroine. The way she tried to leanr and control her power more was spellbinding. She was devoted to a cause bigger than herself, but also so ardent for Xaden and her unshakable love for him. And that man... wow! I already loved him, but he outmatched himself. He was the perfect partner and his one liners full of passion, possessiveness, humor and love had me swooning. His circumstance wasn't easy, but he still fought for his cause.

I was fascinated by the whole cast! Seriously, the squad and the way they work together and support each other was incredible. They're truly the meaning of found family.

How can I wrapup this review without mentionning Tairn and Andarna. Once again, these two were the perfect companions to Violet. Their irresistible personalities had me enthralled. Tairn with his ever present grumpiness and Andarna with her candor and sweetness. The perfect dragon duo!

I tried to savor this book by reading a little slower, but I utlimately finished it quite fast for a book this long. And now, I'm dying for the next book that will release in forever, lol!

The Proposal Play is without a doubt my new favorite book in the Love and Hockey series! I absolutely loved Maeve and Asher's relationship. Even as friends, there was just something truly special between them. I truly adored their banter. I found myself laughing a lot at their funny interactions. Once they started their marriage of convenience, I liked the way their dynamic slowly and effortlesly transformed into a beautiful romantic love! Let's not forget the spicy moments these two shared... so hot! The audiobook duet narration by Vanessa Edwin and Robert Hatchet was incredibly good! They were the perfect Maeve and Asher. I'm now really excited for what's next in this series!

OMFG! I just finished Gleam and I’m speechless! This third novel in the Plated Prisoner Series was so captivating and unputdownable!

The intrigue had me utterly hooked. I didn’t know I could hate Midas more than I already did, but the new revelations about his manipulation and scheming had me raging. I absolutely loved Auren's transformation though. She’s finally standing up for herself and learning to use and control her power. Her relationship with Slate is just EVERYTHING! These two have such a powerful bond. There interactions full of teasing and passion had me giddy. Their spicy encounters… so HOT! Slade is truly the perfect partner: protective, caring, supportive. He only wants what’s best for her and it’s clear through all his actions. I ADORE him! And that ending... seriously, WOW!

I can’t stop swooning over the beautiful writing style of author Raven Kennedy. The way she woves words together in a poetic way is gripping! Once again, I experienced this book via audio and the narration was brilliant! The narrators flawlessly personified the different characters. I’m so glad the series is completed, because I can start Glow right away!

It took me a while to dive into The Empyrean Series and I'm kind of regretting it, beause Fourth Wing was EVERYTHING! This girl is obsessed with this addictive fictional world Rebecca Yarros created! I hadn't read fantasy books in far too long and I'm now asking myself why!

Violet was such an interesting heroine. Pushed into the rider quadrant at Basgiath war college by her mother, General Sorrengail, it wasn't her planned future. With her small and frail stature, she fights hard to stay alive and prove her worth. She uses her intelligence, determination and cunning tactics to stay on top. She's so brave despite her difficult, almost suicidal path.

An aspect I cherished a lot about this novel is the bond between Violet and her friends. The cast is amazing and at times you don't know if you can trust someone of not. Basgiath isn't really a place to make friends with the high propability you'll die before you graduate, but Rhiannon, Ridoc, Sawyer and Liam are part of Violet's core group. Loved their interactions. There's also Xaden! I absolutely loved him and his mystery with his past. He shared something special with Violet and I loved every single interaction they had. From true rivals to lovers!

The bond between the rider and his dragon was clever and I loved it. The way their powers connect and their ability to communicate in their minds was amazing. I felt myself smiling and laughing at some of the interactions between Violet and her dragon, Tairn. He's a grumpy one, but so protective of his rider.

Fourth Wing had me compelled! I loved the plot line and the multiple twists through this story. It was action packed and I was hooked all read long. I went through an amalgam of emotions with this story that kept me captivated. I felt that listening to the audiobook was even better to feel connected to this story! Rebecca Soler was a great narrator, impersonating Violet and company. With that jaw dropping ending, I'm starting Iron Flame right away!

Over the last few years, I've seen Ana Huang's books pop up a lot on my social media feeds. I was interested in reading her novels, but never got to it until now. The Striker really appealed to me with its various and alluring tropes: sports (soccer/ballet), brother's teammate/rival, forbidden.

I grabbed the audiobook and wasn't disapointed in this story! The duet narration by Shane East and Stella Hunter was very well done, though I'll admit I had a little difficulty with the British accent at first. English being a second language for me, I have to be extra attentive to understand everything. Once I was acclimated with the narration, Asher and Scarlett's story hooked me.

This couple's chemistry was fantastic. I loved the banter between them. Scarlett didn't make it easy for Asher to win her over with his reputation, but ultimately that man was irresistible. Every single time he called her "darling", I melted! He was seriously obsessed with her and thoughtful. The forbidden aspect of their relationship was interesting too. I appreciated that they were multi-layered protagonists and the author delved into their past to show the hurdles they faced.

Scarlett's brother, Vincent, was a great supporting character. I really liked their relationship. He looked to be such a protective big brother. I enjoyed witnessing Asher's rivalry with him, but also when they started bonding together. Scarlett's girl friends were also interesting and entertaining.

The Striker was such a pleasant first read from Ana Huang and definitely not my last. I'm now more than excited about The Defender coming next in the Gods of the Game Series. It promises a fun time with the coach's daughter trope!!!

The Setup was so good from start to finish! I absolutely loved Indie and Lincoln's story! I'll admit I was a little confused at first, because this book takes place in college, while in the previous books of the series we met Lincoln as a major league baseball player. Nonetheless, once the surprised of the timeline was over, I could only be amazed by this couple.

From their first meeting, Indie and Linc developed an easy frienship. They had an effortless connection that continued all through their junior year at Brentwood. The story wasn't only really funny, but highly emotional too. And let's not forget the spice between these two when their relationship turned to friends with benefits. Their love story was a long process that saw them navigate through heartbreak before embracing their true feelings for each other, but so worth the wait!

The audiobook narration was just so good! I was hooked and couldn't let go of these characters. The Setup is definitely one of my favorite in the series!

I really loved The Change Up! Definitely one of my favorite novel in the Brantwood Boys series! Maddox and Kingsley were just so amazing together. Despite being complete opposites, their very long friendship was the perfect fondation to a stunning love story. Their romance was beautiful and the sexy moments they shared so hot! As usual with Meghan Quinn, the humour in this book was fantastic, but there was also so much feels! I experienced this story through audiobook and the narrators were the perfect Maddox and Kinny! They personified so perfectly these characters and made my listen fantastic. I highly recommend this friends to lovers, roommates romance!
