A light read with college shenanigans, and some stalker drama
Always love Jacob Morgan, he is incapable of narrating anything but sexy and swoon worthy. Ava Erickson always delivers a solid performance.

Just meh for me…..

Teddy & Callie did an awesome job with the narration. They are the only reason I ended up finishing this listen. There were quite a few times I pulled out my AirPods & was going to move on to something else. The story line was the typical mafia romance drama. Nothing really new & exciting. I thought the female main character was annoying & and needy. Throw in a little ’poor me’ and you have Elsie. She was kidnapped & trafficked for sex, for 9 years! You can’t tell me that someone trafficked for 9 years isnt completely broken. Instead she was merely annoying. MMC was a more developed character, & I enjoyed him. I am an avid romance listener, & am no stranger to steamy, raunchy sex scenes, however there was just something about the writing on them in this book that were off putting. I’ve read other offerings from this author & I think after listening to this one, it will be my last. There’s just too many other authors that I enjoy more.

The Original Sin series by Huss/McClain has a really great story line that goes beyond your average romance novel. You must read all 4 books in order to understand and enjoy Maddie & Tyler’s story. Well developed characters and hot crazy, sex add to the allure. Jonathan/Tad is such a great audio book performer. Sexy as sin voice that melts the panties right off your body. I have listened to nearly every book he has ever performed after discovering him. His voice is a bit different in his performance of Tyler compared to his other performances. Ava Erickson always delivers a solid performance. I’ve recently discovered Huss & in the last year have read nearly every single book she has written & love the collaboration between her & McClain. Please bring on MORE!!!

I am rather late to the awesomeness that is Julie Huss. I have listened to nearly all her books written prior to 2020 in the last year. They are all terrific!
The TDH series is positively laugh out loud hilarious, Tad Branson/Jonathan McClain’s performance is just perfection as is Anne Pepperidge.
I love the collaborative writing between Julie & Jonathan & hope like heck that they will get to work together on more projects. I also see that Tad/Jonathan isn’t performing the newest books by Julie, I hope he comes back soon! His performances are the perfect blend of snark & sexy.
The book itself had great twists and turns, character development, hot sex, and the perfect ending to jump to the next book.
This is my very first Audible review, though I have been a member for nearly 20 years.
That this book made me want to write a review is a testament to how entertaining this was! I’m on my second listen of this book right now! Thanks Julie & Jonathan for the fun!

I kept waiting for something to happen......
and waiting. This was a terrible read. Took me over a week to get through it and I am currently in a full cast on my right leg and loads of time to enjoy books.
I’ve listened to January LaVoy before and she has always turned in a terrific performance. Even she couldn’t save this book. She sounded furtive and frantic by turns. If you are looking for a Kay Scarpetta type read, stop now.
