Historia
Dolores has accumulated information about the death experience and what lies beyond through 16 years of hypnotic research and past-life therapy. While retrieving past-life experiences, hundreds of subjects reported the same memories when experiencing their death, the spirit realm, and their rebirth.

ONE GHOST'S OPINION
Revisado: 12-31-22
Well, actually several ghosts' opinions. My guess is that the outline of what Cannon quotes is in line with the ASU: Actual Structuure of the Universe. Another commentator made reference to L. Ron Hubbard. Cosmic wisdom being open to alll ( well, sorta), there is some overlap, but Old Father Hubbard was just a criminal. I think that Cannon is sincerely trying to help. A far better comparison is with Emmanuel Swedenborg.
However, as a psychiatrist with 40 yrs of experience, I can tell you that what the one ghost says about suicide is NOT true to the realities of the souls who attempt and/or complete it. The view presented in the book on suicide is both mistaken and cruel.
The wooden reading will bother you unless you take it for its humor value. The many mispronounciations are particularly amusing.
The best one occurs twice in a discussion of Herr Hitler, who, it turns out, wasn't such a bad fellow after all. He was, you see, a frustrated artist who adored his beloved Deutschland. Unfortunately, the reader, mislead by the deceit of an unstudied erudition, twice pronounces Deutschland as Douche-land.

Historia
For nearly 2,000 years, Christians have followed the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, called Messiah or Christ in the New Testament. Indeed, no other person has had such a wide-ranging and powerful impact on the history of the Western world. This has compelled scholars and the faithful alike to undertake the quest for knowledge about his life. Now, you too can take this quest.

There are of course numerous books and courses on "the historical Jesus" (for of the making of many books there is no end), but many of them have an axe to grind. Prof Flanagan works hard to be fair to all the many parties, without denying that no one is without some degree of prejudice. A lot of books try to put Jesus in a Jewish context. These lectures give a factual and fascinating account of ancient Jewish beliefs and practices, an account that throws surprising light on some of what Jesus said -- or might have said. 5 stars.
