Two wonderful stories!

Unlike some of the reviews here, I loved the first story. It was my favorite of the two. The chemistry between Mourn and Vonnie was wonderful. The story was so emotional and engrossing. I loved it so much I’m going to listen to it again after I’m done with the second story. Hero and Candy’s has a slow start in my opinion but it gets much better, so hang in there with it. Hero comes off as a heartless “male” in the beginning but he turns around. He was so heartless I almost stopped listening. I’m glad I didn’t. It’s very passionate! I’m almost done with the story now and it was definitely worth a listen.

“Doc” Trisha ruined this book.

Brawn and Becca’s story would have been wonderful except for the now awful Trisha character. I used to like Trisha. She was never my favorite but she was a nice addition to the stories. However, the things she attempted to do in this book, like prescribing the antibiotics was horrific. She also set it up to have Becca forced to do other things. Absolutely revolting. It was all to “protect” New Species but a huge line was crossed. As the book progressed, she kept going too! Giving out advice when she should mind her own business. Leave the “girl talk” to Breeze. She’s very likable unlike snobby little Trisha. I’ve never wanted to hear someone shut up as much as her. She actually ruined this story.

Mordrake is amazing! Warren was tepid at best.

Jean-Paul Mordrake's narration was hot, lively and masterful. His voice is so sexy. I enjoyed every second of listening to him.

Holly Warren was monotone, just monotone. No inflection in her voice, nothing. She almost ruined the entire story.

The story was well written and oh so yummy! I recommend reading vs listening because of the dull narration of Warren.

You MUST read/listen to this series! Perfection!

The entire Immortal Guardians series is AMAZING! I have yet to find another paranormal series like this one. It has incredible storylines, in depth character development and just enough steamy, curl your toes sex scenes to satisfy any listener.

I listened to all the books within 2-3 weeks. I only put them down for work or sleep, they are just that addicting.

Kirsten Potter does a fantastic job as narrator. She adds to the stories with her different character voices, not detracts like some others. They can truly make or break a story. Kirsten makes these 5 star, drool worthy books. I CAN'T wait for the series to continue!

Loved it!! One of the best in the series!!

I cannot believe there are tepid reviews for this book. It is absolutely one of the best in the series! I love Moon and Joy. Moon is one of the sweetest, sexiest species in all the books. And his voice doesn't grate on your nerves like Tigers does. The narrator did a wonderful job with this one. This definitely rates in my top three for the New Species series!

The best ending by far of all New Species books!!

I loved that this was about a new species Female and Male! Excellently written and superb narration, like always in this series. I love Beauty and her internal struggles. She seemed more human than the other heroines in these books who were actually human! Definitely worth the credit. I couldn't stop listening to this book! wonderful!!

Great series but this book was lacking.

I loved the first book "Fury" but this one was lacking in emotional depth and a connection between the couple. It also seemed to end abruptly. It was as if the author was speeding through it to get to the next in the series. Slightly disappointed but the "love" scenes were phenomenal.

Poor story line.

I loved the 1st book! I am not sure what the author was thinking here or how the editor let this one get published but the only good part about it was the last 2 chapters. This book really dragged on and on. I kept listening because I paid for it for one and second the 1st was so good!!!! Very disappointed with this one.

An okay story and annoying narrative.

The narrator in this story sounds like a 15 year old kid as opposed to an almost 30 something man. He has no accent like "James" should have. I loved the first 2 books with a passion but James comes off as conceited, no deep emotional depth like in the first two novels. The only reason I got through it was my love of the first two. Disappointing.
