Jett Psaris has clearly navigated a midlife and has, in my opinion, a hopeful way of lighting what appears to be a dark path. I am only into the book several chapters but am very impressed at the insight. Simply put, it made me welcome the midlife rather than fear it! I am seriously excited as to what lies on the other side of the "Egoic Mind"! That being said, my wife and I began really sole searching about two years ago and have read enough on the consciousness and the mind to realize that they are two different entities. Having a rudimentary understanding of this will make what Psaris has laid out, make much more sense! I can only imagine that this book hasn't received a full 5 stars because an intermediate understanding of the ego is extremely beneficial. However, if you can understand that the mind and consciousness are two different entities then I am sure you will be able to extract the valuable message. Not that what I say means anything but I highly recommend this book!

I don't like writing negative reviews. Maybe it is because I was taught that if you don't have anything nice to say...don't say anything at all! However, if you think you are beginning a midlife or are in one, this book will make you laugh. In complete honesty, it feels a lot like someone read a book on midlife and regurgitated the bullet points of a more complete work. However, I will absolutely endorse the other book I bought which was "Hidden Blessings". Jett Psaris has clearly navigated a midlife and has, in my opinion, a hopeful way of lighting what appears to be a dark path.
