The author’s incisive view of life and of crime, merge to provide the reader with fascinating stories, and memorable characters. It is always a distinct pleasure to welcome Department Q into my life with each expertly written novel. The books provide an embellishment to my existence, and stand beside my favourite crime and espionage authors: Charles McCarry…..Olen Steinhauer… Charles Cumming…..Alan Furst…..Phillip Kerr…..Henning Mankell…..Luke McCallum and Jo Nesbo. I am grateful for their collective talent and their memorable story telling.
