Second half boring

Started out strong, enjoyed the idea. Once the two main characters made contact it became very boring. It was all about the mate bond and I had to fast forward through much of the second half. I prefer more intrigue, more magic, more adventure and true love formed over time. This was a “insta-romance”. And the entire plot with the boyfriend I the beginning did not add anything to the storyline, but detracted from it.

Had potential but found it a bit boring, especially the romantic storyline. The beginning was the most suspenseful and exciting part.

Boring

I struggled to finish this one. Found it boring and very predictable. Didn’t feel any chemistry between the main characters. The male wasn’t a hero. The female also annoyed me. But I couldn’t return the credit so I struggled through. The first book I thought was much more imaginative and exciting.

Good story, annoying narrators

I enjoyed the story a lot, but narrators were difficult for me and I almost quit a few times. Rush/Flare sound very feminine instead of majestic and masculine. Cora’s voice is whiny, almost petulant sounding like an immature teenager. I would have enjoyed the physical books more.
