great message & easily digestible
Revisado: 07-09-23
being someone that's read the works of Jung, Freud, Blavatsky, Waite, Pike, and Hall and search of all things a psychoanalytical and esoteric I found this book easily digestible. I mean that in the best of ways. many times we find these pieces to be written in a matter that requires analysis and interpretation. The archaic vernacular can put a strain if not drown the message. I enjoyed this book because it was easily comprehended and still producing a valuable methodology towards obtaining life altering results. especially to those who do not have access to the ritualistic practices described in the book. I would recommend this read evening for the seasoned practitioner as a potential teaching method to the profane or neophyte.

Good for 2-10yrs - heavily secular perspective
Revisado: 02-20-23
I really enjoyed this book. The vantage point of the author is heavily secular particularly Judeo-Christianism. I say that in a positive manner because the points touched on are good. however, there are parts that are long-winded and heavy-handed religiously. The book gives perspective on a variety of both family, psychological, and objective position in regards to your young lady. I would recommend this book to the father that's looking for some insight on how to better navigate the minefield that is bringing up girls. The only reason I did not give it five stars in total is a very minute intolerant moment in regards to where and how you can pull jewels of wisdom from alternate secular viewpoints or philosophical for that matter. however overall I enjoy the book and I would recommend it to someone who's looking to better himself and better equip himself with the tools What parenting a young lady and this crazy world we have going on now.

The over all book and story was superb, It's no wonder why the book popular. The narrator was spot on and made it even better. The actual story is something I would never pick up or read again. however I don't wish to judge the entirety on my personal preference. it was good and I'm sure would be amazing for those that are interested in this sort of strife stories

Every leader must be ready and willing to take charge, to make hard, crucial calls for the good of the team and the mission. Something much more difficult to understand is that in order to be a good leader, one must also be a good follower. This is a dichotomy - a Dichotomy of Leadership. It is, as authors Jocko Willink and Leif Babin explained in their best-selling first audiobook, Extreme Ownership, “Simple, Not Easy”.

Gems scattered about...
Revisado: 11-19-19
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in addition to this read. that's what encouraged me to purchase this follow up. as explained in the preface this is supposed to be a stand alone book and it was. there are definitely some gems scattered throughout but I wasn't as satisfied with this one as I was with the last. I'm not disappointed but felt it lacked something the first had. Jacko keeps it interesting the whole read.

One of the enduring yet little-examined themes in Civil War lore is the widespread belief that on the field of battle and afterward, members of Masonic lodges would give aid and comfort to wounded or captured enemy Masons, often at great personal sacrifice and danger. This work is a deeply researched examination of the recorded, practical effects of Freemasonry among Civil War participants on both sides.

a great read for those Interested in Freemasonry
Revisado: 08-17-19
I very much enjoyed this book. It's detail to research and verification rather than the generalizations and promulgation of baseless claims is refreshing. This was great for those looking for the historical effects of the Craft of men of that time. If interested in Freemasonry or a brother you'll not be disheartened with this read. very recommended! good information starts slow
Revisado: 06-01-19
the read begins very slow but its understandable if the reader has zero content or is fresh to the subject matter. I had to push through towards the Chapter to begin substance. Once there however, I did enjoy it. While such a simple concept the delivery of it made it easily digestible. I would recommend it for those that are interested in understanding the foundation of relationships.
