Lovely Music and Narrator
Revisado: 11-11-23
The music and the narration really made the story come alive. It was a common theme of a child being bullied, which personally I tire from, but it had a sweetness to it, and a lovely turn around at the end with some magic touches.

Historia
In this follow-up to Nesbit’s classic Five Children and It, Cyril, Robert, Anthea, Jane, and the Lamb have more magical adventures in store when a mysterious egg hatches in the nursery fireplace. Out comes a flame-colored bird, the Phoenix, who, though a bit conceited, proves very helpful indeed. The bird kindly explains that the second-hand Persian carpet recently acquired for the nursery is actually a flying one. On it, they may travel to any place and time that they wish. But once again, the children find that magic does not always go as planned.

What could’ve been
Revisado: 10-16-22
The Narrator has a very enjoyable and appropriate voice for the material, but he did not use his instrument well. I wish he would’ve infused the writing with more inflection and wonder. As a result I found it difficult to receive and absorb the information which was less storytelling than it was more telling about the lore without enlivening with the stories themselves.
Because I don’t have enough of a background in this subject, I can’t speak to it’s accuracy.

Elegantly Compelling
Revisado: 07-22-22
Absolutely took me by surprise! Why have I not read this? Or been required to read it in school? The language has such breadth and if you continue to the later books in this volume you not only hear Arthur come to his conclusion, but some ardent monologues which rich philosophical brilliance.
Narrator is a genius! Absolutely bringing the story to life and endearing his voice to the audience.

Are you too nice? If you find it hard to be assertive, directly ask for what you want, or say "no" to others, then you just might be suffering from too much niceness. In this controversial book, world-renowned confidence expert, Dr. Aziz Gazipura, takes an incisive look at the concept of nice. Through his typical style, Dr. Aziz uses engaging stories, humor, and disarming vulnerability to cut through the nice conditioning and liberate the most bold, expressive, authentic version of you.
