For a MMC named Devil there's already any hell or sin in this book. The FMC was super whiney. She’s either crying about it or trying to act tough then crying about it.
Wish there's was more about what happened with Devil and Ava in their past; so much potential for this to be a great mafia stalker novel!
Overall a meh read, don't expect much

Definitely not for the weak of stomach, trigger warnings should not go unignored.
Aero is a neon red flag that'll make you wonder why is red bad. Loved Briony's character growth and strength! The use of religion is clever. I think the world could've been a little more developed. Side characters get lost then are brought in at random. I wished the true antagonist would've been a bit more dubious; thankfully Aero's wickedness knows no bounds.
cheers to Joe and Desiree for bringing the story to life; especially Aero's laugh and sinister tone.
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 All the spice and then some. Unless you have an unwavering poker face, best to read at home 🫦

Too much Whine - Not enough Steam

Intriguing storyline, I enjoyed the pace of the story. I do wish the main character wasn't whiney and weak.
Aria is an underdeveloped character. For the daughter of a mafia boss, I was surprised she wasn't a bit tougher like Carter. Somehow she's maintained rose-colored glasses and naive mindset. The female narrator doesn't do much to strengthen the character either.
The male character and narrator are amazing! Both lured me into the story but the female POV and narrator always seemed to disinterest me.
Overall, a great smut read that requires little to no brain power to follow.
