Historia
Crossover is the first novel in a series which follows the adventures of Cassandra Kresnov, an artificial person, or android, created by the League, one side of an interstellar war against the more powerful, conservative Federation. Cassandra is an experimental design - more intelligent, more creative, and far more dangerous than any that have preceded her. But with her intellect come questions, and a moral awakening. She deserts the League and heads incognito into the space of her former enemy, the Federation, in search of a new life.

Weak Attempt at Emotional Emergance
Revisado: 10-26-14
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No. This topic has been better rendered by other authors.
The main character was attempting to find herself while being a relatively unfeeling synthetic being. By the time the deeper feelings inevitably came out, we were no longer interested. The attempt to render profound linkage to societal problems came off as illogical and unbelievable.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Dina Pearlman?
Maybe.

LONG, SLOW, AND PONDEROUS
Revisado: 08-27-14
What would have made Words of Radiance better?
Move the story along at a much faster pace.
What could Brandon Sanderson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Less dialog, more action. Give the characters more motivation for where they are going, then get them there in less than 300 pages.
Did Michael Kramer and Kate Reading do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
The reading was alright.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Boredom. I stopped caring about where the story was going, because the characters didn't seem to care much either.

Historia
"You have to kill him." Imprisoned in the heart of a secret military base, Em has nothing except the voice of the boy in the cell next door and the list of instructions she finds taped inside the drain. Only Em can complete the final instruction. She's tried everything to prevent the creation of a time machine that will tear the world apart. She holds the proof: a list she has never seen before, written in her own hand. Each failed attempt in the past has led her to the same terrible present - imprisoned and tortured by a sadistic man called "the doctor" while war rages outside.

Sophomoric Puppy Love
Revisado: 08-08-14
Would you try another book from Cristin Terrill and/or Meredith Mitchell?
No, the characters were incredibly shallow and uninteresting.
What could Cristin Terrill have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Assume more intelligence and maturity on the part of her characters.
What three words best describe Meredith Mitchell’s voice?
Immature, shallow, sophomoric.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
I am an avid reader of tales about time travel, but this was a complete disappointment.
Any additional comments?
This book should have been called "Puppy Love Between Time Travelers". The dialog was inane, such as "I love him, but that was not enough". A complete waste of time.
