a very disturbing story, but one that is important to talk about. I'm disappointed that grace was not able to be saved, but that's just reality. Happy endings hardly ever come.
I must also add that unfortunately, the narrator's performance was quite atrocious. It did not feel like he was engaged at all and sounded as if he were bored the entire time.

Historia
Vera Harlow is a survivor. After a chance encounter led to her being held captive in a disgusting house of horrors, she fought tooth and nail to escape the clutches of a man known only as The Slob. But while she may have fled the disastrous situation, the details of her struggle are now carved into her flesh and soul. Vera’s son is the product of utter depravity. Harold, the sinister seed left by the man who took everything from her, continues to blossom in nauseating fashion. His features and habits are stomach-churning, vividly familiar, and becoming more disturbing by the day.

entertaining but slightly disappointing

although the story is very entertaining and reeling, I have to admit I'm also quite disappointed in the outcome and the conclusion to the story.

Historia
In his sixth fable, best-selling author Patrick Lencioni takes on a topic that almost everyone can relate to: the causes of a miserable job. Millions of workers, even those who have carefully chosen careers based on true passions and interests, dread going to work, suffering each day as they trudge to jobs that make them cynical, weary, and frustrated. It is a simple fact of business life that any job, from investment banker to dishwasher, can become miserable.

Very good to self improve

I never thought of this way, anominity and what not, it certainly is a better way to think in order to perform better. I notice sometimes the narrator forgot to change his voice 😆

Historia
Dave Rubin launched his political talk show The Rubin Report in 2015 as a meeting ground for free thinkers who realize that partisan politics is a dead end. He hosts people he both agrees and disagrees with - including those who have been dismissed, deplatformed, and despised - taking on the most controversial issues of our day. As a result, he’s become a voice of reason in a time of madness. Now, Rubin gives you the tools you need to think for yourself in an age when tribal outrage is the only available alternative.

outstanding
Revisado: 07-19-21
that was pretty wholesome, Dave rubin is very modest gentleman, and is actually a petty good narrative. the main thing to also take away from this is to also think individually.

Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

an excellent book to get you thinking
Revisado: 11-16-20
it was a great "how to" book. if there is any complaints, it would have to be the fact that the Arthur promotes his website in every chapter, it gets repetitive.
