Infinity is the second book in the Chronos Ring series. You can read this book as a standalone. Though the storyline will make more sense if you have read the first book. There is violence. I enjoy this series with its multiple planets and enemies. In this book our main character learns more about his family and the universe. I listened to the Audible version. The author spoke clearly and was easy to understand.

Safe Passage is the first book in the Black Flag series. This book can be read as a standalone. There is some violence and adult content. This book does have a FF relationship in it, so pass it by if you don't want to read about it. Overall, this is an enjoyable book with interesting characters. In the Audible version, the narrator ispeaks clearly and is easy to listen to.

Supercarrier is the first book in the Ixan Prophecies series. This book can be read as a standalone but it does end in a cliffhanger. There is violence. The storyline is interesting. It not only includes power & money hungry corporations and politicians who help them, but also alien races who want the total destruction of humans. Well worth reading.

Overall this set is 3.5 stars. This box set includes all three books in The Circuit series (Executor Rising, Progeny of Vale, and Earthfall). These books are not standalones. This set makes it easy to read them all in order without trying to find the next book. There is violence.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. There are clues in the storyline that keep you guessing what will be revealed next. It definitely kept me reading. Overall it is an interesting storyline and worth taking the time to read.

I own both the Audible and Kindle versions of this book. I like how you can go between the two and not lose your place in the story. The audio book is narrated by Jefferson Mays. He does a very good job and his words are very understandable and easy to listen to.

This is the second book in The Color of Heaven series. While this book is part of series, you can easily read it as a standalone. Though I highly recommend you read the series because Julianne MacLean does such a good job of creating rich characters with thought provoking storylines.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that information here. I have read many of Julianne's books, including other books in the Color of Heaven series, but hadn't read this one yet. It did not disappoint me, even though it was a confusing read at times with the way it went back and forth between the main characters. It is worth hanging in there and reading the entire book.

I also have the Kindle version. I like how the Kindle and Audible versions update where you stopped reading/ listening when switching between the two. Julia Motyka, Jennifer O'Donnell, and Paul L. Coffey were the narrators for the audio version. They did a good job in narrating the book. All three were very articulate and easy to understand. While I normally don't enjoy listening to female narrators, both Julia and Jennifer did a good job and I had no problem with listening to them.

This set includes the first three books in the Vesick series. This can be read as a standalone. While it does not end in a traditional cliffhanger, it is clear the story doesn't end here. There is a lot of violence and gore and sexual situations so 18+. Will I continue to read future books in the series? Of course I will.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. This story involves necromancers, vampires, Fae, demons, and other supernatural creatures. Damian Vesick, his mentor Zola, and an assortment of family, friends, and other allies have their hands full while they try to stop foes determined to wreck havoc on Earth. Will they succeed and if they do at what cost? They find out they are facing bigger problems than just the demon and Philip. As losses mount on both sides, the stakes get higher, especially for Damien.

William Dufris is the narrator for the audio version. He does a good job in narrating the books. He is very clear and easy to understand. I also have the Kindle version of these books and it is nice to have both versions so I can continue reading the books when I'm not somewhere I can listen to the audio version.

This book is the second book in the Rubicon International series. I have read multiple books from this author, including the first book in this series, and I was not disappointed in this book. This is a standalone. And no cliffhanger at the end though it is open-ended for future books. There is violence and hot steamy shifter sex. Definitely 18+.

The author packed a lot of emotion and action into this read and this story moves fast. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The author does a good job describing the background of the company which is the basis of the series (which helps if you didn't read Book #1), the main characters Lars and Tamara, and why they are on the run.

I have both read the ebook version as well as listened to the audio version of this book. Gregory Salinas did an excellent job with his narration. This book has graphic sex scenes and I can't imagine having to voice them. They are sometimes hard enough to read but hearing them described had me fast forwarding at times.

I really enjoyed this story. I look forward to reading more of Ann Gimpel's books and the next book in this series once it's released

The author packed a lot of emotion and action into this read. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The author managed to richly describe the background of the company which is the basis of the series, the characters, and get you caught up in the emotions between the main characters.

There is plenty of action as well as twists and turns in the book. I really enjoyed this book and storyline. I hope we see more of Garen and Miranda in future books.

Any additional comments?

I received a free copy of the audio version in exchange for an honest review. I already owned the ebook version but hadn't read it yet. This is the first book in The Skyfall Era series. I have read other books by the author and he didn't disappoint me with this book. This book can be read as a standalone. It does not end in a cliffhanger but does have an open ending for future books on the series. There is a lot violence and may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.

In Children of the Sun and Moon, the author has set the bar high for future books in the series. The characters, beliefs, countries/empires, locations, etc. are richly described. There are many layers within this storyline that kept me interested and invested in the story. I would think I had things figured out and another layer would be revealed that changed my thinking. I had a hard time putting this book down as I got caught up in their lives and struggles. I look forward to the rest of the series!

Anisha Dadia was the narrator for the audio version. I normally don't like listening to female narrators. But she had a pleasant voice and did a good job in narrating the book.

If you could sum up Lost in three words, what would they be?

After THE END

What three words best describe Jessica Mann’s performance?

Clear, concise, adequate

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Cinderella saw her mom again and learned the truth

Any additional comments?

This is the first book in the Cinderella's Secret Witch Diaries series. Please note that the book has an open ending for future books.

This series center around Cinderella and what happens after the HEA (Happily Ever After) isn't happy anymore.  It has been four years since her fairy godmother whisked her off to the ball. Cinderella and her Prince are having problems.

She starts writing in a diary she keeps secret and hidden. Her entries are addressed to her fairy godmother. She starts receiving occasional responses to her entries. Who is sending her responses? Why does she keep seeing a silver fox? She soon learns that not everything is as it seems and neither is she. If she had the ability to change the past, would she make different choices?

I switched between the Kindle edition and the Audible edition. I do like how updates where you stopped reading/listening when switching between the two. Jessica Mann was the narrator for the audio version. Her voice is higher pitched than what I usually prefer to listen to in an audio book, but she did a good job in narrating the book
