Historia
With its breathtaking vistas and down-to-earth people, Thunder Point is the perfect place for FBI agent Laine Carrington to recuperate from a gunshot wound and contemplate her future. The locals embraced Laine as one of their own after she risked her life to save a young girl from a dangerous cult. Knowing her wounds go beyond the physical, Laine hopes she'll fit in for a while and find her true self in a town that feels safe. She may even learn to open her heart to others, something an undercover agent has little time to indulge.

Where did the other characters go!
Revisado: 05-01-25
I really like this series because of all the community of characters, but this book in the series really disappoints. With the exception of a few very short interactions, the two main characters live in a bubble and rarely interact with any of the original cast. Disappointing. I what to know what's going on with everyone else in town. You'd think these two live on a deserted island. Otherwise the book is OK, but definitely not my favorite in the series.

Historia
On a miserable November day in 1967, two women disappear from a working-class town on the Fraser River. The community is thrown into panic, with talk of drifters and murderous husbands. But no one can find a trace of Bette Parsons or Alice McFee. Even the egg seller, Doris Tenpenny, a woman to whom everyone tells their secrets, hears nothing. Ten-year-old Lulu Parsons discovers something, though: a milk-stained note her mother, Bette, left for her father on the kitchen table.

What Happens next...
Revisado: 04-19-21
This was my first time reading this author. The story starts off slow, then draws you in gradually. I enjoyed it, right up till the end. Then, Wham! It ends abruptly and leaves you hanging. I hate that!! So, what happens next...who knows!

Historia
On the eve of a top secret space mission, Captain Calli Chase detects a tripped alarm in the tunnels deep below a NASA research center. A NASA pilot, quantum physicist, and cybercrime investigator, Calli knows that a looming blizzard and government shutdown could provide the perfect cover for sabotage, with deadly consequences. As it turns out, the danger is worse than she thought. A spatter of dried blood, a missing security badge, a suspicious suicide—a series of disturbing clues point to Calli’s twin sister, Carme, who’s been MIA for days.

Disappointed
Revisado: 10-10-19
I've been a fan of Patricia Cornwell for a long, long time. I've always enjoyed her books, but I found that I just couldn't get into this story. I quit listening after an hour. Wasted a credit.
