Historia
A report on how the greed of a privileged few, subsidized by public funding, creates substantial profits for themselves from mass human suffering. This was a speech given by General Butler during a nationwide tour in the early 1930's, but it applies even more today! Listen as he frankly discusses, from his experience as a career military officer, how business interests commercially benefit from warfare. He then suggests several practical solutions for reducing the pillage.

So friendly reminder the opening of this story was Satan giving Morpheus the key to Hell like this story takes us to Revolutionary France, Imperial Rome, and San Francisco to see the Emperor of America also Netflix please recast Loki Audible spoiled me with David Tennent. Also Orpheus’s song is my second favorite Sandman moment.

Yeah what I love about this graphic novel is how diverse the setting is like this story opens in 1916 and some stories take place in well at the time contemporary 1989 then 10,000 BC 1389, 1489, 1589, 1689 (PS I adore the Hob story) etc like I see so much of myself in Lord Morpheus

Historia
One of the most important and controversial figures in the history of race relations in America and the world at large, Marcus Garvey was the first great black orator of the 20th century. The Jamaican-born African American rights advocated dismayed his enemies as much as he dazzled his admirers. Essential listening for students of African American history, this volume will also serve as a useful reference for anyone interested in the history of the civil rights movement.

The proto-Malcolm X
Revisado: 10-09-24
Honestly I kinda wish there were more Biopics about this man like yes he had some controversial views but my goodness Malcom X was a member of the UNIA and it’s shows like some of Gravey writings would feel right at home in an X speech and it’s also shows how in each civil rights movement there are two men with different opinions like Du Bois vs Gravey is very similar to X vs King

Historia
It's AD 2137 - To civilized Americans, Europe exists only as a legend, an ancient mythic land, a civilization that went mad back in 1914 and tore itself to pieces in a blood-mad frenzy, forcing America to cut off all contact for its own protection. No American has seen Europe or any European for more than two centuries.

A brilliant Anti-War book
Revisado: 10-09-24
Though a tad dated and goes into the space filling empire trope seeing how America got involved in the war it goes into the psyche of America during WW1 also this book was prophetic at times like the Republic of China falling and the Germans bombing London like wow. However while the society of Grbritian was fleshed out Germany not so much like how did they lose the war but aside from that a criminally underrated Burroughs book
