Spare is honest and transparent. Sometimes too transparent. Yet such honesty and transparency gives the reader/listener opportunities to see who Prince Harry is. A human being. A human being that makes mistakes. A human being that grieves. A human being that hurts. Stick w the book read it to the end and you will see the boy prince become a man, a father. Nary a Spare.

This this book was assigned reading for a class. I began reading it and just could not understand it. D.A. Carson was very difficult to read. Listening to this book on Audible however, was pleasant and enjoyable. It is now clear why this book was assigned reading.
