I mostly liked it!

I mostly enjoyed this story. The author did a great job crafting the words and I particularly loved Emma Fielding reading it on Audible!

I was very excited when the story began! I loved following the servants of my favorite story, Pride and Prejudice, throughout the story to see a different and new perspective, told through the eyes of the servants.

I was quite disappointed, though when just as one of the servants got to travel with Elizabeth to England, the author launched into our separate storyline and several chapters that went on and oI…. It was confusing at first whom it was even talking about & then it added an extra character n situation in the Longbourn timeline that left me waiting to bring it back to the original story.

Eventually she does bring us back to the present but I would have loved it more if she had not strayed from the heart of the story in so many extra chapters.

It was enjoyable once she got back to the main story. I also did enjoy the ending:) So I liked it mostly:)

Wonderful story!

I loved this story. It is full of adventure, magic, and a little bit of romance. It is a clean story and there are no foul language. I also think the narrator Esther Wane did a wonderful job narrating this and she really brought you into the story! I can’t wait to read the next one.

Did not disappoint

I love Jeff Sanders and first discovered him through periscope a couple of years ago. This is a man that has a lot of integrity, honesty and a lot of energy and gets you excited every time you listen to him. Since that time I have subscribed to his podcast and read several of his books. This is his newest and It did not disappoint. I listened to this through Audible as well as followed it on my Kindle because I tend to want to take notes with this style of books. This book isn’t just about creating free time in your schedule but it’s also about fine-tuning your personal schedule. This book can apply to the homemaker or to the business professional. Full of practical ideas and specific steps to get you started.

One of my favorite chapters was on “flexing your muscles,” helping you to put first things first. He basically says that if these three essential activities are not in your life almost every day then you are too busy and YOU need to repriortize your life. I added in “investing in my relationship with the Lord” to these essentials:)

Other helpful chapters include: doing a time audit on your own life; clarify (figuring out your priorities) ; how to work distraction free alone or in with others nearby; his recommended list of the most productive daily healthy habits; getting rid of the mundane useless activities that clutter your life and more...

Well told but erotic/ not appropriate for teens

I thought the author did a great job telling the story. However the reader must be aware of the descriptive intimacy. My teens have loved the pride and prejudice story but I could never share with them this story or could recommend it to my friends. It would definitely be described as erotic.
