There is so much humanity present throughout Ingrid's story. I constantly found myself listening closer and closer to see how a situation would turn out.
Ingrid reminds the listener that recovery and healing is a long process and an effort that we need to check ourselves on from time to time.

To me, this is by no means a quick fix book that will have you cured as you hear the author tell story after story of the insidious traits that a parent should never exhude, but instead a reality check that You should always believe yourself, and take your own mental health seriously. "Believing Me" is awakening from start to finish as you find yourself on Ingrid's journey to healing from Narcissistic Abuse. The memoir serves as a reminder to treat yourself with kindness and respect, even when those who we trust do not.

10/10 - great production and narration.
