Revisado: 04-03-25
This book had my attention from the first paragraph. I couldn’t stop listening. I stayed up really late and woke up early. Finished in less than 24 hours! Highly recommend!

To make things worse, Liz is the ex-girlfriend of DCI Craig Gillard who is drawn into the investigation. Is it just a missing person or something worse? And what relevance do the events around the shocking Girl F case, so taken up by Knight, have to do with the present? The truth is darker than you could ever have imagined.

Great read!
Revisado: 11-19-24
This was such a great read! It kept my interest peaked the whole way though. I finished it quickly. I did predict the ending, but that doesn’t change how much I loved this read!

Very hard to stay interested
Revisado: 11-14-24
It was very difficult for me to stay interested in this book. I think it mostly had to do with the performance, but the story was “meh” as well. Predictable.

Slow start, but turned out great!
Revisado: 11-05-24
This book had a very slow start. I actually gave up twice. I convinced myself to give it one more chance and I’m so glad I did! When it did pick up, it picked up fast and then I couldn’t stop listening! So many unexpected twists and turns! I hope they make it a movie!

Great Book
Revisado: 08-22-24
When I first started this book, it seemed pretty strange and didn’t seem like something I would be interested in. I stopped listening and started something else. A few books later, I restarted this one from the beginning and I was hooked! I dont know what happened, but I’m so glad I have it another chance because it was SO good! I highly recommend it!

Boring
Revisado: 08-02-24
I admittedly watched the TV series first. It was so good that I wanted to read the book. We all know the book is 9/10 better than the show or movie. Not in this case. They are remarkably different. If you’re thinking about reading this because you liked the TV series, don’t bother. They do have different endings, which is probably the only thing that held my interest.

Long, drawn out, terrible ending
Revisado: 06-17-24
This story took way too long to get to the good stuff. There were definitely some unexpected, jaw dropping twists, but the ending was terrible in my opinion. The male narrator spoke with so much urgency, it was sort of annoying.
