Historia
Long, lonely years have passed for the crumbling Château Clement, nestled well beyond the rolling lavender fields and popular tourist attractions of Provence. Once a bustling and dignified ancestral estate, now all that remains is the château's gruff, elderly owner and the softly whispered secrets of generations buried and forgotten. But time has a way of exposing history's dark stains, and when American photographer Cady Drake finds herself drawn to the château and its antique carousel, she longs to explore the relic's shadowy origins.

So uninteresting
Revisado: 07-02-21
I could not get into this book. It lost my interest from the beginning so quit listening after a few chapters.

Not what I expected or enjoyed.
Revisado: 01-10-20
I didn’t realize until well into this what the the actual genre was, and gave up on the whiny characters and repetitious dialogue before finishing.

Historia
Since You're Leaving Anyway, Take Out the Trash is a rollicking Texas mystery debut jam-packed with humor - and a heaping helping of romance to boot! Down in Salt Lick, Texas, a lot of folks got sass, but beauty salon proprietor Debbie Sue Overstreet has a bit more than most.

Fun story but horrible narrator.
Revisado: 10-07-18
This was a southern, light hearted book, but the narration was poorly done. Too many pauses and breaths taken, which were clearly heard, and irritating.

Enjoy her books, but -
Revisado: 08-18-14
I have read or listened to all her books and enjoyed them and learned something from them. They are particularly interesting to me because I live in Charleston. The biggest issue I have with this book is the author's narration. She reads it with the intonation one would use when reading children's books aloud.

This was a waste of time.
Revisado: 05-31-13
This book was a total waste of a credit and time. My husband and I finished it because we were listening to it while on a long auto trip, but the story lacked credibility. The ending was ridiculous and did nothing to pull together what story line there was! The impression at the end was that the author wanted this book to end as much as the listener did so she chose a murderer and that was that. I have other Nora Robert's books in our audible library, but doubt that I will purchase more!

Enjoyable series, but
Revisado: 06-13-12
The first two books in the this series were great because of the story line and the narrator, Julia Gibson. I listened to this third book because I wanted to complete the series, but the narrator did not make it an easy listen. She is annoying and her character voices are dull.

Historia
Frank W. Abagnale was one of the most daring con men, forgers, imposters, and escape artists in history. In his brief but notorious criminal career, Abagnale donned a pilot's uniform and copiloted a Pan Am jet, masqueraded as the supervising resident of a hospital, practiced law without a license, passed himself off as a college sociology professor, and cashed over $2.5 million in forged checks, all before he was 21. His story is now a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.

Amazing and Captivating Story!
Revisado: 11-26-11
This book kept us entertained for two days during a 900 mile trip. The only disappointment was that an epilogue was not included. We have speculated on what he would have accomplished early on if he had put his skills to productive use! Still, so very enjoyable
