Historia
When the neighbours in question are the proud empires of Klatch and Ankh-Morpork, those are going to be some pretty large garden tools indeed. Of course, no-one would dream of starting a war without a perfectly good reason...such as a 'strategic' piece of old rock in the middle of nowhere. It is after all every citizen's right to bear arms to defend their own. Even if it isn't technically their own. And even if they don't have much in the way of actual weaponry.

The performances were amazing with different voices for different characters.

As always, there is nothing to dislike about Terry Pratchett’s books. They are always full of humor, adventure, and a hidden moral lesson somewhere in there. 😊

I love these books from the point of you of a cat. The wonderful teachings are still coming through in the light hearted soft and joyful way and because they are related to a story the lesson is easier to remember.

Thank you for elaborating
Revisado: 08-08-23
The discussion is a very interesting from multiple point of view. I enjoyed listening to the point of astrology. I would like to make a suggestion to Carol. Your voice is very loud and sharp, please stand back from the microphone. It hurts my ears. The other ladies have a warm, rounded voice whenever you talk I have to turn down the volume. And no this coming does not come from a male and it’s not about patriarchy, it’s about knowing how to speak into a microphone without overwhelming/overpowering. Once again, ladies, thank you for taking the time to discuss this difficult topic.

Great elaboration of this hard to read book

This is a very good in-depth collaboration of this very hard to read book in conjunction with psychology and astrology, and how the two of them are tied together

Historia
Rob Schenck’s extraordinary life has been at the center of the intersection between evangelical Christianity and modern politics. Attacked by partisans on both sides of the aisle, he has been called a "right-wing hate monger", the "ultimate D.C. power-broker", a "traitor", and "turncoat." Now, this influential spiritual adviser to America’s political class chronicles his controversial, sometimes troubling career in this revelatory and often shocking memoir. He reflects on his path to God, his unconscious abandonment of his principles, and his return to the convictions that guide him.

God’s character finds a way to shine.
Revisado: 08-01-18
As a liberal woman, the first 30 chapters were Excruciating to listen to. They have awakened feelings of fear anger and resentment towards a Christian totalitarian church. Growing up in communist Romania I was well familiar with these feelings. Praise be to the God of truth and light that Pastor Shank Was finally enlightened To discover the true character of God As portrayed by Jesus Christ himself. May God give you the strength to be a powerful light into this world and change the minds of many radical views.
