A well-read seminal work on golf
Revisado: 11-03-23
The narrator was pleasant to listen to and gave me that feeling of a kindly old gentleman helping me with my golf game. I would recommend for someone new to golf to reference a physical copy of the book or an ebook as there are diagrams and pictures that will help support the instructions if you have difficulty following the detailed biomechanical descriptions.
This book is an essential read for anyone interested in golf theory.

Fun fantasy story with well-described action
Revisado: 05-07-21
The short review is: Solid 4-stars. If you like fantasy, you'll enjoy this take on the genre. In my view of star ratings for stories and games, a 5-star rating means that no matter what you think of the genre, you'll enjoy the work.
This story is steeped firmly in the tropes of fantasy with good and evil wizards, teenagers swept up in magic, pixies, spirit animals, and more. If those things aren't for you, then you might struggle with the tale. Also, there is a fair dose of teenage angst in the plot (many of the protagonists are high-school students) so be cognizant of that.
The performance by the narrator is just average. There are some very nice moments but then there are parts that are read in quite a hammy fashion, particularly the villains, which diminishes the narrative tension.
The action sequences are where this story particularly shines. The author has a talent for describing movement and violent clash such that the engagements are fun to imagine and listen to.
Overall I enjoyed the work and I hope my review helps you decide if the story is right for you.

Historia
Asked to name a great physicist, most people would mention Newton or Einstein, Feynman or Hawking. But ask a physicist and there’s no doubt that James Clerk Maxwell will be near the top of the list. Maxwell, an unassuming Victorian Scotsman, explained how we perceive color. He uncovered the way gases behave. And, most significantly, he transformed the way physics was undertaken in his explanation of the interaction of electricity and magnetism, revealing the nature of light and laying the groundwork for everything from Einstein’s special relativity to modern electronics.

Great biography, well read, would listen again
Revisado: 05-17-20
Great foray into the life of an enormously influential physicist. I am an electrical engineer and I learned things about Maxwell I didn't know. Splendid book.

Historia
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Great story and great voice acting
Revisado: 10-25-19
This audio book was wonderful. I had been wanting to read the book for some time now so when I saw this audiobook I decided to pick it up and I'm so glad I did. the story starts a little slow but once it picked up I didn't want to stop listening. the voice acting was amazing, but how could it not be with this all star cast. The only voice I didn't like was Lucy but it may have been a little bit because of her character which was a little one dimensional. I hope audible makes more classic audiobooks with a cast of great voice actors like this one!
