Historia
By his 40s, Peter J. Boni was an accomplished CEO, with a specialty in navigating high-tech companies out of hot water. Just before his 50th birthday, Peter’s 75-year-old mother unveiled a bombshell: His deceased father was not his biological father. Peter was conceived in 1945 via an anonymous sperm donor. The emotional upheaval upon learning that he was “misattributed” rekindled traumas long past and fueled his relentless research to find his genealogy.

Shared experience & emotional validation
Revisado: 08-29-23
I cannot say enough great things about this book. I am a 7x egg donor and always opted for ID option to the intended parents if they or any resulting offspring ever wanted to contact me. Fast forward about 8 years, we unexpectedly found out that my spouse was conceived via donor sperm at 34 years old. It has been an absolute mind-f*ck of emotion for everyone, and adding in my contributions to donor conception just gave it a bit of an extra twist. Going through this experience and then listening to this book I think has helped us, at the very least, to not feel as alone, and to also continue getting my information out there and accessible to children conceived from my donations. Thank you for writing thing and helping to validate so many of the confusing emotions that have come with this journey!
