These are good books but they keep saying that Det. Holt is a great detective but he is not a good detective at all!! so the book kinda of sucks when you can figure out the book before the detective's do!! all in all it is a good book but they to step it up a bit with Det. Holt!! he sounds like a big muscle guy with no brains lol

Nothing to do with the Boys

this could of been a better story, there is so much info missing and how everything took place etc...but what's worse is that the story is suppose to be about the brothers and they only mention them a few times. This book should of been only about Barbara with a different book name since it's all this book mentions is all about Barbara. I feel like i was tricked.

The Entire Book

I love Ron Ripley stories but this one is not what i expected. The whole story is no bueno!! i would like to return it but i already heard it so i'm not but i am not going to buy the rest of this series. I'll stick to his books solely.

Could of been better

the story is a great one, i think it's the narrator she needed a little bit more experience on telling the story. In the beginning i almost put it off since it made no sense but it was the narrator who wasn't doing the voices correctly in order to distinguish who was whom. But finally i gave it a chance and then loved the book!!! it's a great story it really is, and a sad one at that.

Authors shouldn't read their own books....

The story is true and a very sad one at that, but the writing and reading of it was so hard!!!! it was all over the place, i was confused half of the time not knowing who he was actually talking about until he'll say her name or something....he needs to rewrite it correctly and have someone else read it.

Come on, bcuz the kid is graduating college how can he not know anything or try to figure things out?? kids today are so "in the know" and this kid was like with blinders...loved the story but people not knowing what was going on and who was what hmmm better story line but still good enough to hear, not to read.

this was my favorite book of this series!! and the narrator IS THE BEST!!! I know that some series start out slow or strong and then either die out or get boring...this one got better and interesting!!!

Ughhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Love the concept of it all but the whole "woman is dumb then vicious and then dumb again" kills me!!!! Please no more dumb woman in the stories...if they're going to be dumb at first and then vicious then good but don't make them dumb and hard to get at the same time then in to submission...yeah this book was not what i thought it was going to be, i'm going to give the 3rd book a try and if it's the same story line then i'm done with Kresley Cole and i'll stick to Christine Feehan who has the same exact story line of immortals seeking a soulmate but hers is with only one race.
