Historia
As Americans, liberty is an inalienable right that is granted to us by God, protected by the Constitution, and upheld by our government. Yet, Barack Obama doesn’t seem to share that view. To him, liberty is a threat to the government’s power and something to be squashed by any means possible, as bestselling author David Limbaugh shows to devastating effect in his new book, Crimes Against Liberty. Limbaugh issues a damning indictment of President Barack Obama for encroaching upon and stripping us of our individual and sovereign rights.

Superb!

A superb analysis of the failings and unprecedented tactics employed by a naïve President who seeks to attack and vilify his opponents and the very institutions and values that made America the power that it has been.

Historia
A plan to destroy America, a hundred years in the making, is about to be unleashed. There is a powerful technique called the Overton Window that can shape our lives, our laws, and our future. It works by manipulating public perception so that ideas previously thought of as radical begin to seem acceptable over time. Move the Window and you change the debate. Change the debate and you change the country.

Excellent
Revisado: 06-22-10
Considering this is the first thriller by Glenn Beck and also factoring in just how many other mediums (Radio, Television and Non-Fiction Books) he occupies his time with I was highly impressed. I would have been impressed if he was merely a full-time author. It's a perfect well told story of a progressive movement to alter the very country.
Only a couple complaints. I too was hoping to get more in-depth about what points in the book were based on fact. They glossed over this at the end and I was disappointed in that. Also, the book was far too short. I was left wanting more or at least even more resolution. So I hope there will be a follow-up in the works for The Overton Window.

Historia
Do you remember your first time? People tend to remember the moment they first heard The Rush Limbaugh Show on the radio. For Zev Chafets, it was in a car in Detroit, driving down Woodward Avenue. Limbaugh's braggadocio, the outrageous satire, the slaughtering of liberal sacred cows performed with the verve of a rock-n-roll DJ-it seemed fresh, funny and completely subversive.

Honest Analysis
Revisado: 06-07-10
It was nice to see a book on Limbaugh written by an outsider that wasn't setting out to destroy the man in the process of writing the book. It's the most honest genuine interpretation of Limbaugh that anyone could have hoped for.
While I'm not certain Zev fully embraces or understands Rush's take on everything or his logic in doing so he makes an earnest effort to tell the motivations and inspirations. This book is well worth the time to get a better bit of insight to Rush and how he came to be where he's at and what inspires him.

Historia
Renowned fake conservative pundit Stephen Colbert may have coined the word truthiness, but it's Greg Gutfeld, real conservative political pundit and host of the Fox News Channel's Red Eye, who has made a name for himself by unabashedly pronouncing the actual uncomfortable truthiness of life that is sure to shock the P.C. The Bible of Unspeakable Truths is packed full of his most aggressive (and hilarious) rants, with each chapter devoted to a single "unspeakable truth".

Positively Horrible... by that I mean Outstanding!
Revisado: 06-07-10
The humor and views of Greg Gutfeld are the reason I love watching his show Red Eye on FoxNews. This book is a larger continuation of his Greg-a-logue and was well worth the listen. I also enjoyed the additional interview at the end. There's nobody that can duplicate Greg's comedic sense of humor which makes him narrating this book even more perfect. His Conservative/Libertarian views are well illustrated as he shotguns his well-thought stance on an array of topics. A GREAT BOOK!

Historia
George S. Patton was a general who achieved greatness in his field by contradicting his own nature. A cavalryman steeped in romantic military tradition, he nevertheless pulled a reluctant American military into the most advanced realms of highly mobile armored warfare. An autocratic snob, Patton created unparalleled rapport and loyalty with the lowliest private in his command.

History and a Hit Piece
Revisado: 05-23-10
At times the book seemed to serve the purpose to tell the story of Patton, and at others it seemed to have more of a purpose to undermine Patton and his character and find fault his tactics and approach to situations. I did enjoy the historical aspects, but it seemed as though the author was out to subtly discredit the man.

Historia
Ignatius Perrish spent the night drunk and doing terrible things. He woke up the next morning with a thunderous hangover, a raging headache, and a pair of horns growing from his temples. At first Ig thought the horns were a hallucination, the product of a mind damaged by rage and grief. He had spent the last year in a lonely, private purgatory, following the death of his beloved, Merrin Williams, who was raped and murdered under inexplicable circumstances.

I wasn't quite certain what to expect, but after listening to the entire book I'm glad I opted to give this book a try. Joe Hill paints a very vivid tale throughout the the story. The further the twisted tale unravels, the harder it becomes to put down. I'd highly recommend this book!
