Yea.....I used to love these

I loved these until the last 2 books. I hoped the last one was a fluke but this series is over for me. The naming things silly names joke was limited to only about 30 times this book so....I guess that's an improvement.

What made this great is now what makes it boring. You have Bob as the main character, no matter which version. Also, I don't care about furry rodents in the last one or dragons in this one. Lastly, the only 2 things that were interesting, they punted to the next book. Nah, I'm good.

Stephen King? Really?

There was a time when his books were amazing and unique. This is just a murder mystery with a strange murdering reason. Also, it's seems unprofessional to include so much of your Anti-Trump propaganda in a book but.... here we are. Yet another professional person that is so unprofessional in their accepting of other people's views.

I'm learning more and more that it's hard to find a good post-apocalyptic book series. They all are interesting at the beginning when the apocalypse happens but the story then usually goes downhill. This one had potential but was just average.

Wow..... not a good book

The first half of this book, before it becomes anything Stephen King like, is actually really interesting. Unfortunately, the second half is just impossible to get through. I have no idea what Stephen King was thinking.

this just seems like one of those stories that you either get interested in the characters or you don't. The characters just seems so cookie-cutter that I couldn't get into it.

Took awhile to get going but then good!

I'm not a fan of a bunch of filler at the beginning that seemed fairly pointless. I mean, Skippy doesn't really come into the book until at least a third of the way through. Skippy is the reason this series is so amazing!

Not normal Sanderson

I normally love the author's books. They mostly occupy my top 10. however, this series just can't seem to capture the magic the others. The first book in the series was really good. However, the last one was just okay and I had to force myself to finish this one. If anything, I would definitely put this in the realm of more of a Teenage book. I wish he would just stop this series and fully concentrate on The Stormlight series. :)
