I love that this story continues and the battle isn't over. instead of just one adventure, it's cumulative and immerse. I loved book 1, here comes book 2 into my library...

amazing story...

love the trials.. I like and dislike the level up skipping. so it seems like he made it to 100 over the course of the the books. but you don't experience all of his moments and then it seems that some of his realizations are just happening now... but as a gamer you realize so many aspects of games as you progress... it feels like months in the game have made this transitions almost instantaneously happen. .. unopposed to real work life... I'm fine because it would be too long of a story to tell, but at the same time it feels like you miss important parts of progression that an older gamer shouldn't miss. either way I still love this story and I'm intrigued by the irl implications for those characters...

loved the fact that Sabel remains herself and young woman growing and staying stubborn at the same time. storyline was perfect, making me want to keep listening into the late hours of the night when I should be sleeping.

I loved it all, although it was hard to relate with Brahn, but at the same time his thinking and logic so made sense except where he... no teasers.. definitely a great listen! Alien, meets Doom meets WTF...

I'm so glad i listened to this. the narrators voice told the story perfectly. i loved this story line and it kept me engaged the whole time. mix of action, drama, magic, divided allegiance, stories of hardships.. can't wait to get the next.

great story. love the multiple vantage points...

This story is told by different characters vantage points, not just one. i love it and it gives you a true sense of what each main character is actually feeling or going through. could this use work... sure, everyone is a critic, but i enjoyed the first book moving on to #2.

i feel like these books should be combined

these 7 hour stories should be combined 2 to 1... these are easy to short to spend credits on.. if they were doubled like books 1 and 2. 3 and 4 etc.. i could definitely see spending money on them.

great intro to the character

i appreciate the underlying understanding of knowing the abuse he goes through without the writer putting it into detail. it unfortunately gets your mind wondering about the atrocities, but also allows you to become emotionally involved with the character. not sure I'm completely happy with the narrator at this point but I'm going to start listening to other books before i make that decision.
