Historia
It is the most famous military installation in the world. And it doesn't exist. Located a mere s75 miles outside of Las Vegas in Nevada's desert, the base has never been acknowledged by the US government - but Area 51 has captivated imaginations for decades. Annie Jacobsen had exclusive access to 19 men who served the base proudly and secretly for decades and are now aged 75-92, and unprecedented access to 55 additional military and intelligence personnel, scientists, pilots, and engineers linked to the secret base, 32 of whom lived and worked there for extended periods.

Historia
In The Righteous Mind, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt explores the origins of our divisions and points the way forward to mutual understanding. His starting point is moral intuition - the nearly instantaneous perceptions we all have about other people and the things they do. These intuitions feel like self-evident truths, making us righteously certain that those who see things differently are wrong. Haidt shows us how these intuitions differ across cultures, including the cultures of the political left and right.

A must read for Political Science majors.
Revisado: 04-02-19
This Book explains how Morality and forming common reasons to bond people together could make the greatest nations. It explains the way liberals and conservatives both have moral goals but conservative morality is more complex and this is why most liberals have a harder time understanding how conservatives think. The author explains how humans are like bees that need groups to thrive. That is why religion and sports tend to unify a group of people. Very interesting book that show human behavior and how it could help future politicians understand human nature to try to come up with the best plans to help those that need more help. Diverse communities still need their hives but can have a bigger hive to thrive under such as we are all Americans with similar goals. If you do not have a binding big hive and break apart the small hives the bees become angry.

Historia
Are leaders born or made? Where does ambition come from? How does adversity affect the growth of leadership? Does the man make the times or do the times make the man? In Leadership, Goodwin draws upon four of the presidents she has studied most closely - Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Lyndon B. Johnson (in civil rights) - to show how they first recognized leadership qualities within themselves, and were recognized by others as leaders.

Historia
Until about 1800, the West and the Islamic realm were like two adjacent, parallel universes, each assuming itself to be the center of the world while ignoring the other. As Europeans colonized the globe, the two world histories intersected and the Western narrative drove the other one under. The West hardly noticed, but the Islamic world found the encounter profoundly disrupting.

Easy to understand and very well written. This should be required reading to understand that history plays a very important role in policy making and it shows that history can be interpreted differently depending who writes the book.
