Better than expected

Although slow at times it was enjoyable overall. It was well read and the ending managed to surprise me.

Bit of a bummer

The end is definitely lacking and I wish I would have know her special gift would lead to a strong religious undertone. There was an awful lot of build up, then it just sort of fizzled out at the end.

Too much of everything
Revisado: 01-30-17
The narration was off, no other way to put it. A sentence would start out at a normal volume, then get incredibly quiet, like a whisper. The voices and inflection would also change at inappropriate times. My biggest beef with the narration though was that the 35 year old main character was made to sound like a 60+ year old woman. (Think Thelma from Mamas Family)
The story itself seemed far too long and drawn out and a lot of unnecessary information was given. There are also far too many characters to keep track of and what makes it even more difficult is that sometimes they're referred to by the first name and sometimes the last. These things made it difficult to follow and difficult to truly be engaged in.
