So minor spoilers, but I feel like the whole penny situation is kind of messed up, and it’s written like it’s OK. Like knowingly, seducing someone to fix your soul at the cost of theirs is weird right? I’m not the only one who thinks that granted I know it doesn’t hurt him, but she doesn’t know it at the time, and she’s just cool with it. And then Dhane it’s just cool with it. It’s weird and the arachnophobia thing gets old really quickly.

Mc is a jerk for no reason (spoilers)

I don’t get what the author was going for when he comes back. He like jerks both the girls around when they’re grieving his death for literally no reason.. Like how big of a jerk do you have to be to get off on someone literally grieving you that you just wouldn’t outright say hey it’s me. I’m not really dead. It was a weird choice.

Solo leveling ripoff

This is just a really bad solo leveling rip off. The main character can level up with no one else can, but doesn’t really make use of it. I’d skip it

Narrator ruined it for me

The narrator has no emotions and it sounds like a robot, I really couldn’t get into the story because of it

Felt like a filler

With everything that happened in the last book, this one felt like a filler. Also, the MC is kind of a jerk to Nina in this one.

Feels like a filler book

This book definitely seemed like a filler book. It seems like the ending arc of a regular book that they just stretched out into a full one. It became super exposition heavy and often repeated itself.

Just listen to primal hunter

Ok so I’m coming to this book after reading primal Hunter. So I might have a little bit of a comparison bias. Zach as a main character is really annoying and it’s kind of a turn off for me. Personally, I would skip this and use the credit on prime hunter.

Way to many stats

I would say about a quarter of the book is just stats, worse, will repeat the same stats in a row constantly. The story kind of feels like a discount primal hunter.

Arrogance personified

The main character is one of the most arrogant, childish, unlikable characters I’ve ever read. I like the idea of the world however the main character is probably the worst part of it. also, the romance element seems to be written by someone who’s never actually been in any healthy relationship. Maybe that’s just a part of a harem book but some of it really just makes me cringe.

The narrator is both AI and not at the same time

I’ve never heard a narrator sound so monotone before. It was hard to get through it. Also in regards to the writing the main character rephrases, a lot of his thoughts all the time makes the story kind of drag.
