Historia
From the author of the Sunday Times best seller Cocaine Nights comes an unnerving tale of life in a modern tower block running out of control. Within the concealing walls of an elegant 40-storey tower block, the affluent tenants are hell-bent on an orgy of destruction. Cocktail parties degenerate into marauding attacks on 'enemy' floors, and the once-luxurious amenities become an arena for riots and technological mayhem.

Tom Hiddleston should read everything his voice is exquisite. This book is very entertaining. I hope to hear more books read by Hiddleston in the near future.

A true champion
Revisado: 12-31-22
Nathan Chen is a great champion and ambassador for the sport of figure skating. His story is an inspirational example of perseverance, hard work, and pure heart. He is a great role model for everyone. This book is fascinating. Nathan deserves every accolade he has worked so hard to earn. Highly recommend.

Historia
In We’ve Got To Try, O’Rourke shines a spotlight on the heroic life and work of Dr. Lawrence Aaron Nixon and the west Texas town where he made his stand. The son of an enslaved man, Nixon grew up in the Confederate stronghold of Marshall, Texas before moving to El Paso, becoming a civil rights leader, and helping to win one of the most significant civil and voting rights victories in American history: the defeat of the all-white primary. His fight for the ballot spanned 20 years and twice took him to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Beto is brilliant and honest. His political and historical knowledge, intelligence, sincerity, and respect for truth and democracy are inspirational and aspirational. Helps that he has a really cool voice too. Made this a very pleasant, inspiring, and motivating experience. His writing is as articulate and passionate as his speeches. His voice carries with strength, courage, compassion, and conviction. Truly a gifted and talented writer and speaker, philosopher and teacher, and overall badass.
