The only way to win is to quit. Did you win?

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Replace magic with high tech and power of suggestion. Give the antagonist a deeper motive.
Would you ever listen to anything by Bentley Little again?
Probably not.
Which character – as performed by Ramiz Monsef – was your favorite?
The Consultant
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Consultant?
It's not about scene cutting; it's about story telling.
Any additional comments?
There were some good ingredients, It could have been an exploration of mob psychology in the workplace. And if the book had been good; it could have been the horror version of Office Space.

Great Story and Learning Experience

Where does The Zeroes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Among the best.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Zeroes?
Randall meeting famous people at The Four Seasons.
Any additional comments?
As an added bonus to an entertaining story about interesting and famous people living in interesting times, the book offers another way of understanding the financial crisis. While leverage may have started with credit derivatives; it's the actions, prudence, and integrity (or lack thereof) of people that brings disasters.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. The book is short, entertaining, dense with information.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Man Down?
It's filled with factoids that are memorable. Of the top of my head: women are more reliable at giving directions, women make better spies, women have a keener sense of smell and taste, women are better competitors at eating contests.
Have you listened to any of Dan Abrams’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
N/A
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Women rule.
Any additional comments?
Another impressive thing about this book is that it goes beyond the fun of just listing the fields where women perform better... It compellingly makes the case that women are just better suited to the modern world.
