Historia
When Bobbie and Grayson head back to Plant City to help out some old friends, they run into a “hole” new set of problems. While investigating a rash of missing persons, it’s not long before they get under each other’s skin. What’s making them all hot and bothered? Each other. In more ways than one. Bobbie’s down-to-earth explanations for the missing men irritate Grayson, while his otherworldly theories have her itching for a sane solution. But when new, conflicting evidence emerges in the case, they soon realize they’ve only scratched the surface of the mystery at hand.

Historia
When Bobbie and Grayson go on the hunt for the legendary Florida Skunk Ape, there’s more than one tangled mystery afoot. Grayson, the man Bobbie’s hung her life and career on, is every bit as evasive as the creature they’re tracking. At the start of their investigation, a colossally bad judgement call leaves Bobbie wondering just exactly who—or what—the elusive being is.

Historia
Ever since she stumbled into the quaint village of Tillyhenge and discovered the enchanted chocolate shop run by her grandmother, Caitlyn Le Fey has been dreaming of finding her long-lost mother and finally unwrapping the mystery of her past. But meeting Tara isn't the sweet reunion she'd hoped for: not only is her mother far from the gentle, maternal figure Caitlyn had imagined, she's also the prime suspect in a murder that's left the village in a stir. The locals are wary and suspicious of her, and even Lord James Fitzroy is turning a cold shoulder, in spite of his feelings for Caitlyn.

An ending worth waiting for!
Revisado: 10-04-24
I've loved this series since the start and the way it began in the Little Stables Tea room just cemented it as a favorite.
This story had us following along as Caitlin our main character is looking for her Mom all while finding out who murdered a visitor to the village, defending her Grandma, and navigating a buding relationship with the Lord of the Village.
When the sister of the Lord is taken to hospital only to be found as a tall red head things start getting more interesting!
I've grown to really love these characters and thought how the series was completed was perfect.
I've received this book for free. These opinions are my own.

What better place than the Sunshine State for dark souls to live out their golden years? After all, who would notice? Uh, Bobbie and Grayson, of course. As a rogue physicist turned conspiracy chaser, Grayson's motto is: Have sentience, will travel. As a broke, private-eye wannabe, Bobbie doesn't have much choice but to follow his sketchy command. But every road Grayson travels down leads to the bizarre, the unexplained, and taco-induced heartburn. Vampires. Zombiguanas. Ikigai smell. Its hard to decide which is scarier!

Lots of laughs and action packed!
Gemma and Cassie are in the Scottish highlands in this story and along with the old biddies they get into all sorts of shenanigans after Gem a find something other than books in the posh castle's library.
This story has a great mix of characters and the story grabs you from the start and keeps you guessing at every turn!

This is my favorite of the series and I'm really looking forward to more.
This story hits on a lot of tough subjects and honestly it's done is a great way that allows you to understand more what the person is going through and thier thought processes.
It's also full of laugh out loud situations and commentary as well as some really good recipes.

Roses, dates,and suspects
Revisado: 10-26-22
I've been eagerly waiting for this book to come out on audio! Pearl Hewitt really makes this series come alive!
Poppy has been super excitedly waiting for Summer and her nursery buisness to take off and prove her grandmother proud when her best roses become in need of help.
After agreeing to go on a date with Andrew, the pesticide guy, everything starts going off the path. And with Andrew's murder Poppy herself becomes a suspect!
There are so many people with motive and means I never guessed who and how. I was draw in from the start of this story and was sad to see it end. I'm already excited for the next story!

So good!
I was absorbed into the story right from page one.
After finding out about a tea bar that opened across town causing the Little Stables buisness to drop Gemma and Cassie go to scope out the competition. Little did they know the owner was a real piece of work set out to ruin the Little Stables.
I loved how fleshed out the characters are in the story. I also liked getting more of a look at what it's like for Devlin when Gemma and the old biddies get involved into cases.
In all I really enjoyed the story and didn't want to stop listening. It felt like visiting old friends.
