I liked the early screen presence of MM. but through the years and because of the car commercials, his attraction to me waned. This book gave me an insight into the man. I enjoyed his candor regarding his family. I grew to understand his ego. I learned something about my life and I will listen to Green Lights again something I rarely do with books.

Extremely relevant given the current invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Historical parallels to Hitler are quite apparent. Like Hitler, this man will not be stopped. He has to be taken out somehow. Very well written

With John Grisham you never know what you're going to get. His books often hook you and you enjoy the ride or they hook you and you end up in a ditch. Spoiler alert, there's a ditch ahead.

Narration ruins the whole book

Couldn't get through the book because the reader was absolutely terrible. Why this author thought he could narrate his own book or better yet, why someone didn't say "don't do this, you're terrible ", is beyond me.

I found the book vey boring and disjointed. The author spoke too fast and made it sound like he was reading a report as opposed to telling about his experiences. All I could imagine while listening was that I was at some boring lecture.I can't understand why someone would give it a 3 star much less a 4 star.

What would have made Bad Games better?

Less syrupy interaction between the husband and wife. I thought I was going to throw up. And it went on and on.

What could Jeff Menapace have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Be more Stephen King. Way too many words. It just to hard to keep going. My first read of Menapace and will be my last.

What didn’t you like about Gary Tiedemann’s performance?

He just wasn't engaging

What would have made Every Fifteen Minutes better?

I just found it too absurd. Started out with a good story, but everything became very predictable. The author created too many characters and didn't seem to know what to do with them. I thought the narration so-so.

I did like the reader. The book was really too depressing to be enjoyable for me.

The reader kept me listening long after I grew tired of the book.

Only if I begin taking anti-depressants before I read it.
