I'm glad I got through this book. It wasn't as good as the previous ones, and Fauna's* character was annoying as hell. Its definitely not the ending I hoped for.

The narration of the story is excellent, but the narration of the dialogue and/or conversation between characters is not. It would have been better if he maintain the pitch used when narrating the story for the character interaction. The back and forth between "bad acting" and awesome narration made me conflicted. I wanted to quit but then continue to listen in hopes it got better over time. Overall the book I enjoy so far, but the dialogue between characters needs work.

- I love her. I was totally immersed in her life story. Felt more like a Novel to me than a story of her life's Journey. I first saw her as that nun on Law & Order, I loved her face. I don't know why i kust love seeing her, just so beautiful to me. I come to love and admire her on How To Get Away With Murder even more in the scene when she removed her, lashes, makeup and wig. At first I wasnt sure about the idea of her narrating her own book, but as the book progress I found it was the best way for her story to be told. It's worth a listen and I well most definitely recommended and or gifted to anyone who I feel need to listen to this book.

I am beyond words. The narration was kinda hard to endure. There were times I could not hear what he was saying especially when he whispered, almost all the characters sound the same. Constance Green voice . . . and at some point I could have swore I heard the voice of Smokey the Bear.

I would listen to this again because i truly enjoyed this audio book from beginning to end.
What did you like best about this story?
what i like best about this story is his overcoming every obstacle just to survive.
Have you listened to any of R. C. Bray’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first book i listened to by this narrator, i like his performance enough that i would listen to another book narrator by him.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes, however i listened to one part one day and the other the next, because i didn't want the story to end.
