The narrator killed it for me

What is with the narrator's super weird up and down intonation? It's really off-putting. Combined with the repetitive use of the word 'vagina' (that's so clinical, there are so many other words one could use, and it wasn't even related to the doctor play...) I only made it 5 minutes into the story before giving up.

Not a fan of Kitty Bang

Kitty Bang's narration on this title is annoying. Her voice sounds strained and there's a slight lisp as well.

The story isn't great either. Lexi Blake has certainly written better novels than this one.

First 2 were weak, 3rd was great

Well, the headline says it all, really. The first two stories did nothing for me, but the third was sizzling. Stay away from it if you dislike menage, though.

About the narrators: I usually quite like Lucy Rivers but this time she wasn't that good. She narrates the first story. Christian Fox is one of my all time favourites and he delivered here as well.

Couldn't finish because of the female narrator

Listened to about 2 hours of this, but the female narrator was such a turn off, I couldn't finish. The female character seemed pretty shallow as well. The final nail in the coffin of this book was how in awe she was of the clothes she got and about all the food served on breakfast. I understand wanting to underline that she's pretty much impoverished but this wasn't the way to do it. It's been done in other books without making the character seem shallow. There weren't any good steamy scenes to get me through the lacking narration and writing either.

Can't stand the female narrator

I would've liked to listen to the whole book but the female narrator was just too annoying to stand. The female character was also kind of irritating so maybe I would've stopped before the end of the book even if the narration had been better. I made it 2,5 hours into the book before giving up.

Delightful

Lovely narrator, delightful story! This was like a breath of fresh air. The story was hot as hell, laugh out loud funny and heartwarming. Quite a rare combo.

Interesting storyline but the female narrator...

drives me batty. She's so breathy and overacting every line. I had to stop listening to the book several times because of her but the story drew me back.

No one edited the narration?

So many repeated words and phrases annoyed me throughout the book. I'm sure no narrator can just read through a book in one go, but why oh why did no one _edit_ the narration of this book to cut out the repeated parts! It annoyed me so much that I didn't enjoy the book as much as I otherwise would have. There was some of this on the first book of the series but way more on this book.

Don't bother, it's boring as heck

I made it about 4 hours until I had to give up on this book. I wanted to give up after the first hour, but kept waiting for things to get interesting. They didn't. There's too much introspection and repetition (how many times can you say "I'm no prude, but"), and the thoughts of the heroine make no sense (see some of the other negative reviews for pointers, I won't add spoilers to mine). Some things are underlined and underlined a hundred times, that's not necessary to get a point across. Also, too much description of every single thing in a way that does not add any depth to the story, just bores me to tears.

Whine, moan, whine

Holy cow, the heroine is a horrible whiner. The narrator highlights that fact by whining as well. No, just no. I did finish the book but I had to take breaks because I was grumbling "stop whining!" too often.
