This is by far one of the best audio books I’ve ever read, and I’ve read a lot! She was so engaging and interesting. I’m now going to buy more of her latest music and watch a number of films I somehow missed. Thank you Barbra for an incredible book! I highly recommended it!!!

Great Narration of a Wonderful Book

I got this book because of other reviews and the fact that she won a Grammy for it. She is now one of a few EGOT members. This book is difficult to listen to at times, but then very inspirational. I listened to it while exercising and it made the time fly by. One of the best books I’ve listened to or read in the past year! Get this book and be prepared to be impressed and touched!

I enjoyed listening to this amazing woman’s story and can only begin to say how much I love her! She is intelligent, wise and hysterically funny, but also very honest and sincere. Her life has been full of amazing people and experiences. I highly recommend this audio book to anyone in the arts, especially acting, and anyone interested in hearing about a life lived to the fullest! If only I could experience her in conversation over a cup of tea!!!

What a great source of information!

Listening to this helped me to appreciate poets that I knew very little about and was delighted to listen to some wonderful readings by familiar actors and actresses. John Lithgow does an excellent job of telling who each poet and was and their background. I highly recommend this title if you are at all interested in poetry! I will be returning to it many times.

I listened to this and "Dinner With Buddha" some time ago and decided to revisit both of them. It speaks to many important aspects of life and love. I had tears in my eyes several times and especially at the end. Good tears! I highly recommend both books!
