I am a 27 year old black woman who LOVES dry, witty, UNPOLITICALLY correct humor. The movie certainly wasn't based on this laugh out loud novel, hollyweird has to make everything touchy feely and what they think is digestible. I loooved the narratorators emotionless reading as it made the emotional unavailability in each character (except for Phillip) shine!!

Conservative Christian Loves This!

I found this audio utterly humorous... and dare I day relatable! I was surprised to discover the author wrote this as a means of satire. Interestingly, he knows much of the main talking points and ideas of the Christian faith which he expresses from our POV instead of a leftist mocking standpoint, which is ironic being that the book is satire. I liked it a lot. Oliver, I hope Jesus finds you. We will gladly welcome you :)

As a 27 year woman who's been called an old soul my entire life I love and appreciate this book. it's inspiring and Ms. Musk has become yet another person in their 70s I look up to and admire

As a new Christian woman, I often wonder how God views and interacts with women. Coincidently I've been watching season 3 of The Chosen which are stories involving these very topics of the book!! This was incredibly exciting for me because as the author spoke about Jesus's interaction with these particular women, I got to watch it happen on TV. The author is very accurate in her reciting of the scriptures. She is a true believer, and I also really appreciated how she related parts of her own life with the chapter topics.

The narrator definitely made this story come to life. She ATE and left no crumbs okayyy. The characters are so well executed, so relatable, and so likable. I made my mother also pick this one up

As a woman who studies men as a hobby, I feel I gained new insight into men of my interest. I feel much more knowledgeable when the time comes to discuss following Christ in a way that honors a man as well as God. The information in this book is eye-opening, necessary, and helpful to congregations and women who desire a fellowship coupling

excellent story! excellent sound effects. As a Christian I loveddd the biblical accuracy of prophecy, characters, and stories. I was intrigued and glued to my earbuds. I was entertained the entire time

a great life story

Richard lived and died an honest man in my eyes. He did a lot of wrong during his life but he never lied about his doings. You knew exactly who he was good bad or Indifferent, and that's what I appreciate so much about this book. The narrator has a voice for listening to and captured Richardism throughout the book

Samantha has easily become one of my favorite comedy authors. She is self-depreciating, crude, and brutally honest. If that describes your sense of humor, you will easily love her.
