Historia
OCPD is the abbreviation for a group of mental symptoms that are collectively called obsessive compulsive personality disorder. Many people confuse OCPD with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). People can have both; however, OCPD is a pervasive condition that affects the person's entire life and all interactions. A person with OCPD may justify their rigidity and inflexibility using the morals and values their family instilled in them.

Historia
Should I Stay or Should I Go? is a survival manual, a guidebook, and a shot of reality. Some people will never change, and kissing frogs is the stuff of fairy tales, not real life. The Beast never turns out to be a nice guy (or gal). This is a book that breaks down what mean people do to us, how they do it, and what we can do to survive.

I think my girlfriend is Narcissists
Revisado: 05-27-20
I love Doctor Ramani, and love the study of psychology in general! I've always found the way the mind works and how it effects both that person and the people around them very interesting. Anyways I am almost positive my girlfriend is a "controlling narcissist". She has a very it's her way or the highway attitude, she is quick to get frustrated if she inconvenienced, she always notices the negative in anything (ex: I made her breakfast one morning because she had to work late and the first thing she noticed was that I used the wrong water for her tea, that she had been using herself for 2 weeks until she got a different kind of water and that I started breakfast too early) , she finds it funny and a joke to get me upset over things she knows will upset me (ex: I came home from work one day and walked over and gave her a kiss and said I love you and she replied back I dont love you and laughed, I got upset cried and wrote her a letter that I was leaving her, she cried and said how she loved me and was only kidding etc, so I stayed), she has a attitude of it's okay for her to do something but not you such as she can be on her phone as long as she wants but if I do it's a problem, she also has an attitude of if I dont do something you shouldn't either such as that I drink coffee and she doesn't... She allows me to decorate the apartment and clean it but if something isnt put back the right way or not cleaned how she likes it she is quick to complain and get frustrated with me and it. She also lacks empathy, she hates to see me cry and will tell me to stop crying or don't cry and she never listens to me like it can be just her and I and I'll be talking and she won't hear a word I say and it's my fault because I didn't get her attention. BUT she has a great job ahe has been at for 13 years, her own place, a new car and does amazing taking care of her niece (although she is not emotional with her either, she hates hugs/kisses and affection) and her Mom. Yet it's all done in a very methodical and controlling way, without the emotions. The same went for when I had kidney stone surgery she did great picking me up and making sure I had my medication and all that but as for the emotional taking care of me part, it was a theres nothing I can do to help your pain so just deal with it type of deal. Yet because no one sees the day to day things everyone thinks she is a god send and when I complain I just have to compromise and relationships arnt easy. Doctor Romani what is your take on this?

Not that great.
Revisado: 05-18-20
I dont know if it was just me but I didn't feel much of a connection to any of the characters in this book..And found the son to be somewhat rude, selfish, arrogant, and not just because of the drugs. I felt the same way about the mom too... But like I said its probably just me..
