It's a very inspirational book, but...

... you have to get past Gary's overly enthusiastic opinion of himself. He sure loves him. I suppose that's not really a problem to have, but when he said he has the "Alpha Male Gene," I was close to returning the book for a refund. My experiences have suggested if someone tells you how great they are, they typically are quite the opposite.

Once beyond that, the content of the book becomes pretty important to anyone trying to create their place in today's world. The experiences shared by entrepreneurs following "Crush It" are very inspirational and motivating. This book is mostly stories by people that followed the previous book; however, it comes off strong as very ego inflating for Gary.

Look up the "Toolbox Fallacy" on YouTube combine it with the knowledge from "Crushing it". #juststart should be solid motivation for anyone, especially when it comes to solidifying your personal brand.

I'm glad I didn't use a credit for this book. While the narration was good, the content is lacking. I found the same exact content on YouTube a month ago and again on a Wiki page from a year ago. I was hoping for practical examples and stories of how popular mentalist use their skills.
