It's a no from me Bob.
Revisado: 01-02-20
The author of this book deserves a reward for the most frustrating book ever written. Many of the plots make little to no since. When a country is being invaded a demon comes to aid to protect that said country. The author than acts like the country being invaded would be more worried about the demon than the force wanting to wipe them off the earth.
He will than get you super invested in characters only to make them die or become a coward when they are needed most. The fact that the author thinks the whole planet, including the immortals, wouldn't rise up against someone turning living people into zombie slaves is beyond stupid.
Yes countries and the immortals hate the demon because he goes to war but a necromancer is perfectly okay, like what? The action also never takes off unless is the bad guy mercilessly killing people. Want to hear a story where the hero kicks ass? Definitely not this book. Overall reminds me of life, way to long and pretty much pointless.

Dalinar Kholin's Alethi armies won a fleeting victory at a terrible cost. Great book but can be slow
Revisado: 04-17-19
This is a decent book by Brandon, but the pace and constant description of feelings can be painful. If you read the first two books before this one you already know the hero's are painted as flawed. In this book he pushes that the hero's have weaknesses to much. It is nice when a writer takes the time to make characters relatable, but very aggravating, when they go on for hours about how much self doubt they have. If I wanted to listen to 55 hours of self doubt, I would read my diary over and over again.
There are some parts of the book which are pure genius but feel the momentum he built with the first 2 books stopped by minute 5. I am not sure how I feel now that I'm done with book 3. I need sometime to get joy back in my life before I read another Sanderson book.

The downside to faking your own death is that people tend to get upset when they find out they’ve been had. In Atticus O’Sullivan’s case, they’re upset enough to come after him to make sure he dies for real this time. Yet he can’t remain in hiding anymore: He has to bind his apprentice, Granuaile, to the earth so that she can become the first new Druid in centuries.

Amazing Druid
Revisado: 11-01-18
These books are all awesome and are under rated. the story sucks you in and so does the imaginative world he creates. The performer is top notch and you never want to turn it off. The only downside would be that it isn't longer, but if your looking for longer check out Kevin Hearnes new book A plague of Giants. incredible book also

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty - when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II.

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....
