Spirituality at its purest

I will never find words to express my gratitude towards John. After decades of my spiritual search, I was descending towards atheism, since the decadence of official religions and immature "spiritual teachers" had left me without any reliable spiritual reference point. The "God" that they preached was not persuasive to me. I had almost lost my hope in the existence of a God that would give meaning to life.
In John's videos and books (including this one) I found a spiritually pure man who spoke from experience and was free from ideological boundaries. A truly free, humble and loving soul that points us to the truly free, humble and loving God that he experiences though his prayer.

By far the best advice on writing

I've heard 7 audiobooks on writing (including "On Writing" by Stephen King). "Stein on Writing" is by far the best one. I've just published my first book and this audiobook helped me make some significant final improvements before I sent it to the publisher.
There are very few tips (which I used) in the other 6 audiobooks on writing that aren't included here. And there are significant tips (which I used) in this one that aren't included in the other ones.

Learning how to write a book is easy. Learning how to write a book that doesn't suck and can actually make you money - and set you up for a full-time writing career is harder.
But it's nowhere near impossible. And it's far more doable than you can imagine. The trouble is, most books offering tips on how to write a book fail to address two key considersations: 1) Most self-published nonfiction books suck. 2) It's almost impossible to make a living from one self-published nonfiction book.

It's OK, I guess (for someone new), but I don't think I got any tangible advice that actually helped me get better. I'd recommend "Stein on Writing" instead.

OK, but there are better options

It's OK but not as helpful as I expected. For example, I found the book "Stein on Writing" much more helpful. Especially for non-fiction.

Varoufakis is an intelligent man and a talented writer. But, being a Greek myself and having lived through this story, as I was listening to the audiobook I was always aware of what should be obvious: That there are many sides to this story. I don't have the financial knowledge to evaluate all his arguments, so I won't get into that. Other people have.
In my opinion, Varoufakis' lack of substantial self-reflection and self-criticism (which I think is evident in this book) is a pity. He would have been more useful if he had more. I'm not saying this audiobook isn't worth listening to. It definitely is. I'm saying that it would be extremely naive to listen to this without keeping in mind that this is only one side of a very complicated story.
The narration is excellent.
